Empowering Women Globally: The Inspiring Journey of Cristina Candullo and Zeta Mu Phi

From her roots in New York to her ventures in technology, business, and philanthropy, Cristina Candullo’s journey is one of resilience, innovation, and unwavering commitment to uplifting others.

Cristina’s path was paved with academic excellence from the onset, as she attended the esteemed Stuyvesant High School, driven by her passion for the sciences. However, her aspirations transcended the classroom walls, leading her into the dynamic realms of technology and entrepreneurship.

For nearly two decades, Cristina navigated the tech landscape with a Fortune 15 company, all while cultivating businesses alongside her husband in the nutraceutical and self-development spheres. Yet, amidst her professional endeavors, Cristina found her true calling in creating spaces for women to thrive and support each other.

Alongside Jona Hall, Cristina Candullo and other dedicated women, brough Zeta Mu Phi to life. Zeta Mu Phi isn’t just a sorority; it’s a lifeline for women from diverse backgrounds, offering a platform for education, camaraderie, and philanthropy. By leveraging technology, Zeta Mu Phi breaks barriers to inclusion, welcoming single mothers, military personnel, and career-driven individuals into its fold.

The sorority’s impact extends beyond campus borders, as evidenced by its pivotal role in combating pressing societal issues, notably childhood sex trafficking. Through relentless fundraising efforts, Zeta Mu Phi emerged as Thorn’s leading donor, supporting initiatives leveraging technology to prevent human trafficking, backed by A-list celebrities.

However, Cristina’s dedication doesn’t end there. Alongside her sorority sisters, she co-founded Illuminate, a nonprofit with a mission to combat human trafficking globally. Illuminate’s approach is holistic, offering support to survivors and advocating for prevention initiatives worldwide.

As Zeta Mu Phi and Illuminate continue to illuminate the path for women’s empowerment, Cristina invites undergraduates to join their cause. The sorority isn’t just a membership; it’s a sisterhood that transcends boundaries, fostering lifelong friendships and a shared commitment to making a difference.

For those unable to join as undergraduates, opportunities abound to support these impactful initiatives. Whether through donations, spreading awareness, or attending annual galas, individuals can contribute to Zeta Mu Phi’s mission of empowerment and Illuminate’s fight against human trafficking.

In the ever-changing landscape of education and social justice, Cristina Candullo, Jona Hall and Zeta Mu Phi stand at the forefront, inspiring change and fostering a community where every woman’s voice is heard and valued.
