Yet behind the high-flying tricks and unforgettable finals lies another story — the people who make it possible. To understand how GST Moscow came together, and where the Tour is headed next, we sat down with Ilya Vdovin, President of the Russian Skateboarding Federation and one of the key organizers of the event.

Q: What was the vision behind bringing GST to Moscow this year?

A: “Our goal was to create not just a contest, but a celebration of skateboarding as a culture. We wanted a place where professionals, newcomers, and fans could share the same space, learn from each other, and feel part of a global community. Skateboarding has always been about inclusion and creativity, and we tried to reflect that in every detail.”

Dwayne Moore first came into contact with baseball, playing Little League at the age of 11 with the East New York Little League in Brooklyn and later with the nationally known Brooklyn Bonnies Baseball organization. His natural talent and passion for the game were evident from those early days. He later attended Abraham Lincoln High School in New York City and rapidly rose through the ranks. Eventually becoming captain of the varsity baseball team, Moore stood out for both his leadership and consistent performance on the field. His ability to excel under pressure set him apart and garnered the attention of sportswriters and professional scouts nationwide.

In his final year of high school, Moore hit an incredible .489, cementing his status as one of the league’s premier hitters.
