When Journalist Inna DeSilva, after a chilly winter, decided it was time to get some tender, loving care (TLC), she got recommended to a Med Spa in Hoboken.
According to Inna DeSilva, she required some facial care and received a recommendation from a friend about a med spa called Attain Med Spa in Hoboken. The friend had been a patron of the spa for a year, receiving hair and skin treatments, which looked so fabulous that Inna decided to pay a visit.
During the visit to Attain Med Spa, Inna DeSilva met the owner of the establishment, Lauren Ben-Meir, who impressed her with her demeanor and ability to juggle her responsibilities as a mother of four and a businesswoman with three businesses and a fourth on the way. The spa itself was a beautiful space with a loft-like atmosphere, natural light, and an excellent staff. With many options for 21st-century treatments available, Inna was unsure about which one to choose, but Lauren recommended a treatment called Jet Peel which she decided to go with.
Jet Peel is a multi-step process that includes lymphatic drainage with specially formulated detox water, exfoliation with active ingredients, and infusion with bioactive skin ingredients infused deep into the dermis via a patented handpiece. All of the formulas used are natural and nutrient-rich, with vitamins and minerals. After the treatment, Inna’s skin appeared five years younger.

According to Lauren, it was crucial to her when she began her business that the services offered would be tailored towards individuals who lead busy lives and have limited time but still want to look and feel great. She considers AttainMedSpa to be her life’s work and a manifestation of her vision.
Lauren’s priority is to inspire her all-female staff to fulfill their dreams and to encourage them to move up within her company. Many of her staff members work around their responsibilities with children, husbands, and parents who might need them. She gives them a flexible schedule to accommodate their life. She knows what it is like to care for a sick child while still having a career.
Lauren lived in Manhattan for many years, as many Hoboken Residents had. She was in Marketing for a while and in product development for Sakara Life, a company with a cult-like following. So when she met her husband, Dr. Ron Ben-Meir, they decided to open a 21st-century spa in their new hometown of Hoboken.
