The music industry continues to be powered by trends. In recent years, it has become more apparent that aspirants and established artists must consider hopping on board the hype train to capture the interest of listeners worldwide and gain traction in such a competitive space. Amid the pressure to conform, Roksta has always marched to the beat of his own drum, releasing music that does not come packaged in conventional molds. In doing so, the rock star sensation elevated the EDM space and managed to reach heights others could only dream of.
Known for venturing where many do not and approaching music through a refreshing style, Roksta exploded into the scene in 2018 with the release of his first debut EP, The Prologue. His rise since then has been nothing short of awe-inspiring and is highly deserving, considering the passion, creativity, and dedication the multi-faceted artist has poured into his craft.
From the get-go, Roksta has refused to be boxed within the walls of industry standards. Even when he was surrounded by naysayers and skeptics, he continued to follow his own path and dabble in live EDM sets that feature vocals. Today, after touring along with prominent artists, landing national multi-state show tours, opening sold-out venues for major recording artists, and headlining at festivals. He performed at SXSW earlier this year at Texas and the rapper and singer has emerged as one of the most impressive forces in the field.
His latest album, “Alien,” is a tour de force of EDM, a swansong reminiscent of early 2000s techno and house music. Powerful vocals, backed by heart-stopping beats and bass lines straight out of this world; the standout track, “Atmosphere,” is an atmospheric barrage featuring Joey Cool from Strange Music. The album is out now on all streaming platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music.
Committed to creating a legacy for future generations to remember and carving a position at the top of the industry, Roksta is currently preparing for the release of several projects, all of which are bound to cement his standing. On top of headlining a full US tour called “Litty in the City” in 2023 and performing at Jimi Hendrix’s 80th annual birthday bash on November 26, 2022, the promising talent will drop an EP featuring Leon Hendrix this December and an album in February 2023.
Additionally, Roksta is expanding his reach and demonstrating that he has more aces up his sleeves by launching his Alien Gear, a clothing line that boasts handcrafted products and is set to hit the digital space next year.
