Rising makeup artist Cat Wei of Catt Inks LLC is steadily making an impressive name for herself when it comes to permanent makeup after perfecting her signature Ombre Powder Brows style that has been attracting clients from all over. Having worked on more than 700 clients in the past two years, her growing following is a testament to her exceptional craftsmanship that she managed to hone with sheer dedication and hard work. Today, she is an instructor and trainer, certifying people who specialize in permanent makeup. 

As a person, Cat Wei has always been passionate about transforming the look of other women by simply enhancing their features. She finds great fulfillment in being instrumental in helping them regain or boost their self-confidence and become comfortable with their overall look. 

“Many of my clients recognize my work because they know someone or have seen someone who has gotten their brows done by me. I’ve had clients tell me how they found me by stopping a random girl at the store who had their brows done by me,” Cat Wei explained. “Brows will always be my favorite beauty enhancement because it’s magical to see how brows have the power to reconstruct someone’s face and change how they view themselves in a more positive way.” 

Many of her clients who avail of her services go to her not just to look beautiful. “My clients come to me for different reasons – difficulty growing brow hair, uneven eyebrows, don’t know how to draw in brows, want to hide scars in the brow area, want to fix their old brow tattoos or simply because they want to look like a badass the moment they wake up,” she explained.

It comes as no surprise, therefore, that a lot of makeup artists are seeking her out for training. “What makes Catt Inks unique is that we strive for quality work and an uplifting experience. Brows are not one shape that fits all. Therefore, each brow is personalized to each client’s face. I find out what realistically best suits each face shape and work with their face bone and muscle structures,” she revealed. 

With Cat Wei’s wildly successful brand making a difference in the lives and overall look of women from all walks of life today, she is confident that Catt Inks will go a long way in the next couple of years. She wants to be able to train more permanent makeup artists, expand her makeup studio in at least two strategic locations in the next five years, and be able to add more services, including lip blush tattoos and other services that will enhance women’s brows. Just like many artists in the industry, Cat Wei also sees herself making exciting collaborations with high-profile clients and influential people in the business in the near future. 

What started out as an obsession for brows blossomed into a thriving and promising business for Cat Wei, and she believes that it was her penchant for brows that transformed her skills from ordinary to extraordinary. It was this same attribute that fuelled her passion and motivation whenever times got hard, and she is nothing but grateful that she has successfully established herself as a respectable name in the permanent makeup sector.
