The modeling industry is notoriously cutthroat. The constant pressure for models to lose and maintain a particular weight size to be deemed acceptable often leads to severe health conditions like anorexia, bulimia, body dysmorphia, among several others. However, over the years, several prominent individuals in the fashion and modeling industry have challenged the status quo and championed the need for inclusivity and body positivity. One such individual is former model Hannah Noelle, the founder of Hannah Noelle Models.

Hannah Noelle Models is a modeling agency and influencer marketing company representing models and talent across the United States. Through its vast network and resources, the agency represents hundreds of models and influencers across the US, booking them for runway shows, print, commercial and influencer campaigns.

The agency was founded in 2012 by Hannah Noelle who created Hannah Noelle Models after seeing firsthand how brutal this industry can be to models. As a former model, Hannah had developed an eating disorder due to her ambition to fit into an industry that only catered to a particular size and shape. “Oftentimes, models will be asked to lose weight in an incredibly short amount of time when they are already very thin. Some agents will even discourage models from pursuing their dreams within the industry by saying things like “they will never be able to do runway”. I never want any models to go through this experience. Which is why at Hannah Noelle Models we represent girls and guys of all shapes and sizes,” she explained.

To combat this unhealthy middle ground in the industry, encourage these talents and inspire confidence in them to pursue and achieve their wildest dreams, Hannah Noelle’s favorite thing is to work with models who have been previously discouraged by other agencies and book them for runway shows such as New York Fashion Week or Los Angeles Fashion Week. “Walking in a major fashion week is such a boost of confidence for the models, and it’s even sweeter if they’ve been previously told they could never do it. It’s such a major win for the models and the agency,” Hannah shared.

In addition to providing a platform for up-and-coming models, the agency prides itself in representing models of all shapes and sizes. It does not have a height requirement for models. Furthermore, Hannah Noelle Models aims to expand the horizons of its models well past the age of 35 by teaching them to network, handle rejection, deal with praise and attention, and build confidence, all well-remaining gracious, kind and poised.

In the coming years, Hannah Noelle hopes to set a trend of acceptance and inclusivity in the industry and inspire her models to pursue their dreams inside and outside the fashion industry. “We want everyone to feel beautiful and confident. We hope to inspire every young woman to have a healthy outlook on beauty and realize that they are truly beautiful inside and out,” she said.
