From multinational to multi-millions: The story of Pedro Williams

Imagine arriving to a foreign country with nothing but the clothes on your back and a few bucks.

It’s the story of many, but for Pedro Williams, it birthed a polarizing drive to become more than just the picture on his passport.

Building a multimillion-dollar empire as an immigrant is undoubtedly a challenging journey, but with financial freedom and a meaningful legacy on the horizon, the rewards were astronomical to Pedro.

Backed by a big dream and youthfulness brimming with hustle and grind ambition, Pedro went on to create Halo, a multimillion-dollar automotive group turning over more than 1,000 cars annually and earning over $10 million AUD.

Today, Halo has seven enterprises under its umbrella. Most notably, two multi-brand luxury automotive dealerships employing 25 skilled professionals led by Pedro’s unwavering ethos to bring an unmatched level of service to Australia’s conventional automotive industry.

Pedro’s luxury car dream started young – from five years old when he dreamt of owning a BMW.

Arriving on the shores of Australia at 18 years old, Pedro understood the importance of investing in himself for his cause.

Learning English became Pedro’s first priority – an exercise that demonstrated his personal resourcefulness, resulting in employment at the French luxury hotel chain, Sofitel, and undertaking major international leadership roles.

With a robust work ethic and a natural leadership profile behind him, Pedro dove into senior developmental roles on an international scale, traveling the world, training employees and trailblazing hotel operations in South East Asia and beyond.

But his entrepreneurial nature couldn’t lay dormant.

During this time, Pedro’s passion for European cars came to the fore and quickly commercialized.

Over the following years, Pedro singlehandedly doubled the size of his business for six consecutive years, serving the luxury car market end-to-end.

No clientele were off-limits – from first-time luxury car owners to multimillionaires adding to their luxury car portfolio. Whether buyers were looking for a Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini or McLaren, Halo Motors offered never-before-seen access to premium luxury cars in the Australian market.

Employing dozens of team members worldwide and enabling attractive staff autonomy, Pedro has developed an owner’s culture where his ideologies of dreaming big, making choices to drive growth, taking risks and offering superior value are illustrated at every turn.

The pinnacle of hard work and determination, Pedro Williams’ story is a testament to the relentless dedication entrepreneurs face day by day.

Having built a multimillion-dollar enterprise in less than a decade, Pedro teaches us that no matter where we come from or what obstacles we face, we can achieve greatness when it’s backed by self-belief and unwavering dedication.

Pedro’s story is undeniably an inspiration for anyone looking to build an empire of their own.

With a defined vision, unhesitating persistence, and advancing willingness to take risks, you too can turn your dreams into reality.

The Life Coach School Helps Hundreds of Students Create a Fulfilling and Profitable Career with This Groundbreaking Five-Step Framework

The Life Coach School sets the standard for certification in the coaching industry. A survey of its students reveals that some come for personal transformation, some come to find more fulfilling lives, and some come with a desire to impact the world around them. No matter their reasons, the school’s founder, Brooke Castillo, believes each student has come to the right place.

“Hundreds of Life Coach students have completed the program and are coaching their own students in rewarding careers,” says Castillo. “We start by mastering the coaching model that enables us to overcome our own challenges. We teach you what is possible in your life with this self-coaching model, and then we empower you to use it to impact the world around you.”

Brooke Castillo discovers the coaching model that launched the Life Coach School

The fifty-million-dollar business known as the Life Coach School sprang from the power of Castillo’s revolutionary coaching model. It is a model that rocked Castillo’s personal life as well as the entire coaching industry.

Castillo left college with a degree in psychology and a goal to become a therapist. As she worked with hundreds of clients, she acquired more and more insight into the mind’s inner workings. “I began to understand that the things we do or don’t do have little in common with our willpower or desire,” she explains. “I noticed that we encounter most of our problems because we don’t understand how our mind works and how it interacts with our world.”

Castillo’s epiphany came when she heard another life coach say, “Your thoughts create your feelings.” In one brilliant moment of clarity, her training in psychology, self-improvement, and coaching combined to show her five critical things that impact people’s lives. Inspired, she sat down immediately to outline what is now the Life Coach School’s five-step coaching framework.

“Circumstances are the neutral occurrences we can’t control, and they are always the first things that affect us,” Castillo explains. “Thoughts, or the over 60,000 sentences running through our brains each day, are the second. Feelings are the vibrations in our body caused by our thoughts, and actions and results follow.”

Castillo had spent years studying circumstances, thoughts, feelings, actions, and results individually which eventually led to her understanding  how they work together. The self-coaching model she wrote that day asserts that circumstances spur thoughts, thoughts create feelings, feelings drive actions, and actions cause results.

“In that moment, I understood perfectly how my life worked and how it interacted with the world,” explains Castillo. “I immediately applied this model to my own life and to the lives of my clients. My business increased, and clients began asking how they could help others with this self-coaching model.”

Becoming a certified life coach at the Life Coach School

After founding the Life Coach School, Castillo split her practice into two parts. In the Get Coached in Self-Coaching Scholars program, she and others coach clients and help them achieve personal growth. The other half of her practice involves certifying life coaches who have mastered the five-step model to help other people.

“So many of my clients and Get Coached Scholars decide they want to become life coaches,” observes Castillo. “The desire to better your life and the lives of others often go hand in hand. The self-coaching model is first and foremost a tool we use to make our own lives better. As I use that tool to coach myself, I am constantly creating tools to help the people around me. As you go through our training, you will develop your own foundation and create tools to impact the world around you.”

Every day, certified life coaches from the Life Coach School use the five-step framework to perform meaningful work, explore their own potential, and make a difference in people’s lives, but before they can reach out to help others, they must first find their own solutions. At the Life Coach School, students learn to take responsibility for thoughts, feelings, actions, and results. Mastering this life-changing framework enables them to transfer the benefits and breakthroughs to the people around them. This profoundly significant work is not easy, but encouragement and accountability from a supportive community make it possible.

“At the Life Coach School, we are a close-knit and highly motivated team,” says Castillo. “You’re joining a community where people will build you up and push you to do your best work. We are committed to managing our own thoughts and getting results. When you can do that in your own life, you can help others do the same.”

The self-coaching framework is the key. Like a pebble tossed into a still pond, it creates ever-expanding ripples that reach farther and farther. Castillo’s school empowers people to apply this framework to their own lives, and many go on to spread the breakthrough they experience to others in need of change.

“Years ago, I created the Life Coach School for the first clients who came to me with a desire to change themselves and the world around them,” Castillo concludes. “Today, I am proud to lead a multi-million-dollar program that continues to grow, evolve, and better the lives of thousands. Best of all, hundreds of new students are constantly joining me on this fulfilling journey.”

Real Estate Broker Lauren Crocker Looking to Make an Impact in Her Community

Lauren Crocker, a Tennessee-native and realtor, is following her passion for horses all the way out into the pasture, hoping to make a difference along the way. With the current state of the real estate market, Crocker decided that now was the time to do something she has always wanted to do:, open an equine-centric, therapy- based non-profit called, Saddled Souls.

About Saddled Souls

Saddled Souls is a labor of love for Crocker. After overcoming a truly heartbreaking past of childhood trauma and now having to raise her kids on her own, she knows all too well how important it is to overcome life’s setbacks and hardships, how important it is for children especially, to have a place of peace and safety that allows them to grow into who they were meant to be.

“We need to help our children now so that it benefits them in the future, and hopefully it will allow them to live in a better world than we are living in today,” said Crocker.

That is what Saddled Souls is all about, bettering the lives of children and using the unconditional love and gentleness of horses to accomplish that goal.

The Benefits of Equine Therapy

The size of a horse can be frightening to many people, but the animals are actually therapeutic for those who ride on them. Equine-assisted therapy, also known as hippotherapy, is a modality used by physical, occupational, and speech therapists in which the natural gait and movement of a horse is utilized as a means of treatment. The use of the horse movement is no different than any other type of therapy tool used; it addresses the same goals but has the added benefit of being provided outdoors, which is known to benefit mental health.

While Crocker hopes to serve all children through Saddled Souls, she is hoping to make a difference in the lives of children who have special needs or health-related concerns, as equine therapy is especially beneficial for children with sensory disorders.

Saddled Souls will have the capability to assist children with any number of needs because they have an array of horses on site. The horse any given child will be paired with will be based on the specific needs of that child, so every child will be provided with treatment specifically designed just for them and their needs.

“Each movement of the horse is different, and it benefits a child differently,” says Crocker.

In addition to the horses themselves, Crocker has incorporated her own designs for special tack, and is looking to manufacture brushes and massaging tools that provide a sensory-soothing experience.

Getting Up and Running

Saddled Souls is in the early stages of opening to the public, as they are still in the process of getting everything they need for both the children and the horses. They are located in Tennessee and currently have 5 horses but are looking to expand with more in the near future.

They currently have an occupational therapist but are still searching for physical therapists, speech therapists, mental health counselors, and volunteers to round out their staffing needs.

They are in the process of applying for grants and will gladly accept any donations for “Tack,” or the equipment and accessories placed on horses in the course of their use as domesticated animals. This includes items such as saddles, stirrups, bridles, halters, reins, and bits.

Saddled Souls hopes to be officially open to the public by mid-March and anyone with a child who would benefit from equine therapy is encouraged to join! As Crocker says, “Everybody should have a horse. Everybody should ride and should have that freeing feeling of just being themselves.”

About Lauren Crocker

Lauren Crocker is an experienced realtor and broker. She specializes in commercial and residential real estate properties in Montgomery County, TN. She is also the founder of Saddled Souls, a non-profit specializing in equine-assisted hippotherapy for children. For more information, please visit https://www.facebook.com/SaddledSouls

The Tech Industry Needs More Inclusive Hires Today: Atlanta-Based Non-profit Fights for Black Talent With New Marketing Campaign “Tech Is the New Trap”

Image Commercially Licensed From: Unsplash

Companies continually fight for the top position in today’s fast-paced business landscape. This makes it clear that having diverse teams is the key to retaining top talent and helping businesses tap into the unpenetrated markets.

So, the first step is to adopt practices that allow diverse talent to work comfortably and to their full potential. Diversity and inclusion in the hiring processes are crucial for the business’s success. Nonprofits like Diversity Cyber Council dedicate their efforts to empowering the future workforce so they can have equal opportunities. A groundbreaking campaign by Diversity Cyber Council – Tech Is the New Trap – promotes diversity and trains the future workforce making them highly employable.

But why is there such a pressing need to hire diverse professionals and foster inclusive cultures? Let’s find out.

Breaking Biases

When biases are left unseen and unchecked, it’s detrimental to existing and potential employees. It inhibits diversity efforts, retention rates, and satisfactory recruitment. However, inclusive hiring allows for making sound and equitable business decisions. It results in a diversified team that promotes productivity.

Positive Social Impact

Representation matters for those willing to and capable of breaking into their respective fields. When there’s unbiased hiring, the underrepresented groups get ahead of the curve and thrive – allowing the neglected communities to feel accepted, included, and to prosper on all levels.

Capturing Newer Markets

Diversity in the hiring process allows teams to employ divergent minds, bring newer ideas to the table, penetrate new markets, and outperform competitors. In addition, it enables businesses to understand diverse communities and develop products and services for a multicultural market, which, in turn, improves the overall business reputation.

Improved Profitability

Biased hiring can impact a firm’s profitability to a great extent. This McKinsey study suggests that diversity in executive teams allows them to outdo peers by over 20%. Companies will likely unlock 33% more revenue opportunities if teams represent cultural and ethnic minorities.  The more insights they have on consumers regarding related issues,  the better they can serve lesser-touched markets.

Favorable Work Culture

Being an ethically conscious organization makes you a preferable choice for potential employees and clients. There’s greater collaboration, better interactions, and the creation of a safe space, transforming the company into an equality-driven hub. Thus, promoting diversity and inclusivity in hiring has immeasurable importance.

Top Talent Retention

Free coffee, competitive benefits, and generous raises are typical things. However, if existing and potential employees fear presenting their true identities, i.e., putting up an identity cover, they’ll be more susceptible to leaving the firm. So, to acquire and retain top talent, you must embrace inclusion, particularly of the underrepresented groups.

Competitive Edge

Accelerating inclusion results in an unmatched competitive advantage. Having varied perspectives allows for enhanced visions and better problem-solving. There’s enriched talent driving innovation, highly satisfied teams, and a favorable business image.

The Future of Work Is Diversity and Inclusivity

In an ideal world, all businesses would be adept at understanding how diversified teams bring long-term success. However, in the real world, most remain unaware or ignorant about what’s important, especially when embracing diversity. So the first step to keeping talent invested and engaged in the organization is to retain diverse talent and compassionately work towards mutual goals.

“At Diversity Cyber Hub, our team helps facilitate education, training, and staffing opportunities for underrepresented groups. We wish them to enter the cybersecurity and technology workforce and break into their dream careers, so a lack of capable workers isn’t the case. Our latest campaign, ‘Tech Is the New Trap,’ focuses on creating easy access and equitable possibilities for underserved communities. We also have employer partnership and mentoring programs to streamline the workforce for a sustainable future.” a company representative states.

They added, “Companies focusing on diversity, inclusivity, and equality are more dynamic, productive, and thriving. These make everyone feel welcome. In workplaces where an individual is valued regardless of their culture, religion, race, or gender, these places win the race.”

Her collection ‘Resonance’ is a compilation that uses sound’s therapeutic properties to relax, center, and balance the body. She believes that there is a greater need now more than ever for a thoughtful and meditative frame of mind, in an age consumed by confusion, unrest, and disturbance. Every organ and cell in our body has its own vibrations, and when these vibrations are in tune, they produce the most exquisite symphony imaginable. Cells in our body are deeply affected by sound vibrations, which turn on detoxification processes and promote mental and emotional health.

As a result, she has used sound as the primary inspiration for her collection and included meditative sound-producing mechanisms into the materiality of her clothes, in an effort to physically channel good energy and support the equilibrium of the body’s energy centers. Each garment has a sense of rhythm and flow that melds peaceful sounds into her visual design, immersing one’s senses in unexpected ways and evoking a sense of serenity.

Isha’s name has gained some recognition as she has received the AATCC Foundation Jasani Textile Scholarship and was a finalist for the UK’s Creative Conscience Award. Over a few weeks during COVID, she also collaborated with Devrai Art Village craftsmen in India to make ‘Dhokra’ handicrafts, as well as worked with businesses including Oscar de la Renta and Derek Lam 10 Crosby in New York, and House of Masaba & Vogue India in Mumbai.

Isha has developed her voice as a remarkable artist who lives far from home. That was one of the most significant challenges for her at the beginning of her voyage in New York. She admits that finding a means of expression as an artist that stays true to her unique Indian cultural background within a global context was not easy. Having navigated her way through this, she is now looking forward to creating works that are self-explanatory, distinctive and authentic, among others.

Her style goes beyond mere aesthetics in her eyes. Although aesthetics are crucial, she believes that the buyer today also places emphasis on the vision and ideals that the brand represents. She expresses on wanting to create a connection with her customer through her pieces based on this belief. She encourages other designers to do the same as she sees it as a way to change lives. She also stresses on the significance of daily creative stimulation and maintaining one’s curiosity.

For Isha, the future looks more like expanding her brand and merging her two worlds in her creative journey, while holding steadfastly to the bigger picture of becoming.

Man Of Iron: Renowned Addiction Recovery Expert Completes 100 Ironman Triathlons

Image Commercially Licensed From: Unsplash

Todd Crandell LPCC-S LICDC-CS founder of innovative treatment center Racing for Recovery, reaches extraordinary milestone of one hundred IRONMAN events.

Widely acknowledged as one of the most difficult one-day sporting events, the Ironman triathlon consists of a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike ride and a marathon run of 26.2 miles. Most people bask in the glory of completing this challenge once, but Todd Crandell is not most people.

The 2022 Ironman World Championship in Hawaii was the hundredth Ironman Crandell has completed. Since starting in 1999, Crandell has set incredible achievement times, doing the whole race in under 6 hours. For context, most Ironman events have a cutoff completion time of 17 hours.

The determination and discipline it takes to achieve that level of physical performance is mirrored in Crandell’s everyday life. “Everything I do comes back to Racing for Recovery,” he says. Crandell founded the groundbreaking prevention center, Racing for Recovery, in 2001, after realizing there was no holistic treatment model for addiction.

Designing a comprehensive treatment model that encompasses plant-based nutrition and a healthy lifestyle with clinical counselling, support networks and education, this creative treatment center takes recovery to the next level. Todd Crandell LICDC-CS LPCC-S (Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counsellor – Clinical Supervisor and Licensed Professional Clinical Counsellor – Supervisor) has undertaken these qualifications to dive fully into work at Racing for Recovery.

Addiction is the same story expressed over and over again. Racing for Recovery counsellors aim to uncover the root of the addiction, in order to identify the story, heal it and write a new one. A former addict himself, Crandell found sport to be a beacon on his road to recovery. This is not the case for everyone but encouraging people to find passion and purpose on their personal journey is a key part of the treatment model.

“Once sober, it does not need to be an ongoing battle or struggle with addiction. You can put it down and never make the choice to pick it up again,” Crandell says. Although believing in the genetic predisposition towards substance abuse, Crandell does not subscribe to the accepted notion of addiction as disease.

The philosophy of the treatment center is all about cognizant choice. It is commonly agreed that drugs are used as a coping mechanism. Racing for Recovery asks the question, ‘what are you using it to cope with?’ By digging down to the root cause, rather than treating the symptom, clients can move forward with a deeper understanding of their own psychology and impulses.

Crandell illustrates this with an analogy of a basement that has flooded. You can take out the furniture and paper up the cracks, but without finding the source of the leak, the problem will keep returning. Taking back control of their choices is a potent tool that has seen the treatment center impact many lives for the better.

This approach to sobriety puts the power in the hands of the hurting soul and allows them to take responsibility for their choices. Crandell’s new book, Choices and Consequences, sets out the impact of trauma and the choices people make to cope with it from a clinical standpoint. The underlying ethos of Racing for Recovery is one of service and Crandell is determined to help as many people as possible.

Crandell appreciates that Alcoholics Anonymous works for some people, but as his book There’s More Than One Way To Get To Cleveland asserts, the path to recovery can look different for everyone. This book outlines ten recovery lifestyles that can set people free from addiction, without following a 12-step program.

“Addiction does not discriminate,” Crandell says. “90% of those we help have either a genetic predisposition to addiction or were raised in an environment that’s conducive to drugs or suffered traumatic abuses in their life. Around 10% are those that were living stable lives but a painkiller prescription led them to drugs when the opioids were withdrawn.”

People of all ages and walks of life are susceptible to substance abuse. Crandell was on the path to becoming a professional hockey player before his addiction took over. Having done so much work on navigating his inner pain, Crandell knows with complete certainty and peace that those chaotic days are behind him.

Racing for Recovery was started in a garage. It has grown exponentially to an organization that helps thousands of hurting souls and their families, live streams support meetings to reach people outside the local area and brought in $4,500,000 last year. All proceeds go to maintaining the team, providing lodging for people in the program as well as local causes.

“Sobriety is 100% attainable and sustainable for everybody who chooses it.” When Crandell chose recovery, it came from within. The inner drive for that kind of decision is the only lasting ingredient of success, rather than doing it for anyone else. Racing for Recovery helps hurting souls look to the future and make every choice count.

Exercising Political Courage To Bring Justice In Challenging Times.

We often think of justice as something that can only be achieved through the legal system – by following the rules, respecting rights, and punishing wrongdoers. While this is all true, there is one more ingredient that ensures success in the pursuit of justice, i.e., sheer courage.

Courage is a powerful tool when it comes to justice. When faced with injustice, most people would flee or succumb to the wrongdoer, but those with courage will stand up for what is right, regardless of the odds. Courage allows an individual to stand in the face of adversity regardless of the consequences, seek justice, and restore balance.

Courage can come in many forms. Physical courage is perhaps the most obvious, such as standing up to a bully or standing up against an oppressive government. However, mental and emotional courage is just as important. Speaking up for the rights of others, speaking out against injustice, and standing up for what you believe in despite the fear of repercussions or criticism can be just as courageous as physical acts.

Courage can also be used to bring justice in non-confrontational ways. For example, one might use courage to peacefully protest injustice or speak out against something they disagree with. It is important to remember that courage doesn’t always have to involve physical acts of bravery – it can take the form of having the strength to speak truth to power, to speak out against injustice, or to stand up for what you believe in.

Clinton Cross, in his book, My Grandfather Oliver Harlan Cross And The Ku Klux Klan, shares the unheard tale of his grandfather who lived to fight the Klan in Waco, Texas, during the second Klan’s apex of power in the State.

Cross spoke out against the Klan in Waco, Texas on June 27,1922 when the Klan was at the height of its power in Texas. Indeed, shortly after his speech on behalf of the Citizens League of McClennan County, the Klan held marches in Waco and Austin composed of thousands of masked followers. Political primaries were held shortly thereafter, and Klan candidates were swept into office in Waco and throughout the State. Although he was not at that time a politician, he was very popular and had a political future. By opposing the Klan, he risked whatever future political ambitions he might have entertained.

In retrospect, we might believe that the Klan’s ultimate demise was inevitable. That was not at all clear at that time. The Klan was not an aberrant phenomenon. It appealed to instinctive fears and cultural values that present a clear and present danger to our world today. (Read “American Psychosis” by David Corn). “America First” and “Make America Great Again” were Ku Klux Klan slogans.

It is often said that tough times can bring out the best in people and help them to become stronger. There is some truth to this idea, as facing and overcoming challenges can build up an individual’s resilience, character, and determination.

While some people may find it harder to cope with difficult circumstances and may struggle to bounce back, Harlan Cross was not such kind. You know how they say, “the world always needs a hero” in the case of Cross, this was the truth. Despite the Clan’s growing power and influence in Texas, Cross served as a role model who inspired thousands, if not millions, to hope for a better tomorrow. He was an individual who stood up for what he believed in, showed courage and bravery in the face of adversity, and worked tirelessly to serve justice.

All in All

Courage can be a powerful tool to bring justice, as it allows one to stand up for what is right and fight against the wrongdoer. It is important to remember that courage is not always about physical acts of bravery – it can also take the form of speaking up for the rights of others, speaking out against injustice, and standing up for what you believe in despite the fear of repercussions or criticism. It is this courage that can be used to bring justice, restore balance, and ensure that everyone is treated fairly and justly.

The focus of Clinton’s book, My Grandfather Oliver Harlan Cross And The Ku Klux Klan, is to enlighten and inspire people to keep the hustle going on and understand that there is always light at the end of the tunnel. The book ends with a strong message of hope and strong will that promote the idea that challenges give each of us a chance to learn and become stronger.

FemSTEM (Stop the STEM gender gap) and the Pursuit of Global Sustainable Development Goals

What is FemSTEM? If you haven’t heard about it before, here is your opportunity to be enlightened. FemSTEM is an important initiative that seeks to increase the number of women and girls in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education and professions. This initiative works to address gender disparities in STEM by providing resources, support, and advocacy for women and girls. The FemSTEM initiative is necessary because of the significant gender gap that exists in STEM fields.  There are many books and records of the remarkable achievements of women in STEM, but none until FemSTEM that provide a clear roadmap.

Significance of FemSTEM

Women are underrepresented in STEM fields at all levels, from college students to professors and professionals. This gap is due to a variety of factors, from unconscious bias to unequal access to resources and opportunities. The results of this gender gap are far-reaching, from fewer women in tech leadership positions to a lack of representation in the development of STEM’s world-shaping technologies.

The FemSTEM initiative works to bridge this gap by providing a variety of resources and support to women and girls in STEM. It offers mentorship programs and workshops, as well as access to scholarships, grants, and other funding opportunities. FemSTEM also works to create a positive and supportive environment for women and girls in STEM, by advocating for policies and initiatives that create a more equitable and inclusive STEM ecosystem.

FemSTEM also recognizes the importance of female representation in STEM. By highlighting and amplifying the stories of successful women in STEM, FemSTEM works to inspire the next generation of female STEM professionals.  This is especially important for young girls, as well as women of color, who have frequently faced significant barriers to success in STEM fields. The FemSTEM initiative is also important for the enabling of future successful fulfilment of STEM related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

By providing support and resources to women and girls in STEM, FemSTEM is working to create a more equitable and inclusive STEM ecosystem. This, in turn, will lead to more opportunities for women and girls in STEM, and a more diverse and innovative STEM capacity for researching, developing and implementing the solutions to many complex Global problems.

An Under-Represented Gender

Women make up only about 15% of the workforce in STEM, and men continue to outnumber women majoring in most STEM fields in college and University.  This lack of representation is due to a variety of factors, from a lack of pre-college experience to a masculine culture that frequently discourages women from participating.

The shortage of women in STEM begins with a shortage of girls studying STEM subjects beyond GCSE (or High School Diploma combined with subject grades in other countries) and into higher education. Despite initiatives to encourage more girls to pursue STEM subjects, gender stereotypes and biases continue to effectively limit the number of women who pursue STEM fields. Furthermore, women may understandbly lack the interest or certainty to pursue STEM due to negative stereotypes about their abilities or cultural barriers to entry, including the reality that most young women are unable interact with female STEM role models as they choose from among a host of college courses, most of which cannot offer the exciting possibilities of a STEM career.

These gender disparities are also present in the workplace. Women are underrepresented in math, physical sciences, computing and engineering, but not all STEM degree fields. Women are more likely than men to pursue fields such as biology, chemistry, and health sciences. However, they are still underrepresented in higher paying STEM jobs and are more likely to be underpaid or experience gender discrimination in STEM fields. The gap could be a self-perpetuating problem.   FemSTEM aims to provide greater freedom to young women to choose STEM with confidence.

All In All

In order to address this gender gap and its myriad of consequences, initiatives such as FemSTEM are necessary. FemSTEM will increase the number of women and girls in STEM by providing needed resources, support, and advocacy. These initiatives are essential for creating a more equitable and inclusive STEM ecosystem and greater opportunities for women and girls to freely and determinedly pursue STEM. Scott Goobie’s latest work, FemSTEM addresses the underrepresentation of women in STEM and provides a roadmap that shows how their inclusion is a dire need for a better and sustainable future for humanity and the planet – a future that avoids the seriously dystopian possibilities that are emerging.

Now You Can Ride in a Million-Dollar Self-Drive Car with Sydney Luxury Hire

Car rental is becoming the go-to option for many people as the world moves towards a more convenient and efficient way of traveling. This has been linked to the fact that it’s more cost-effective—you don’t have to worry about maintenance costs and monthly parking fees. It is also the best choice for occasional travels and one way to drive a different model every weekend. With the high cost of living, you can’t afford to buy a new car now and then—you have to utilize it until you attain the value for its cost. But with a car rental, you get to spice up your life with different models. Australian exotic car hire company Sydney Luxury Hire is now taking this experience to the next level with Lamborghini Aventador.

Sydney Luxury Hire offers customers the chance to rent high-end luxury cars like the Lamborghini Aventador for their supercar driving tours, weddings, or other special occasions. It is the only self-drive car hire company in Australia that currently has the Lamborghini Aventador.

Sydney Luxury Hire also offers concierge options. They work with seasoned chauffeurs ready to drive their clients to their destinations. Sydney Luxury Hire has worked with notable celebrities and influencers, including celebrated American rapper Nelly and Australian influencer Kiki Morris. Morris, who was crowned the winner of The Challenge Australia late last year, showed up to her interview with KIIS FM in a $180,000 rented Bentley.

Besides the Lamborghini Aventador, Sydney Luxury Hire has Audis, Porsches, BMWs, Mercedes, McLarens, Ferraris, Bentleys, and more. They have over 25 cars that come complete with all the necessary safety features, including airbags, ABS brakes, and traction control. Each car is also carefully maintained and serviced, ensuring that customers enjoy a smooth and comfortable ride.

Their excellent customer service and support have enabled them to cement their spot in the Australian car rental industry with an 800K+ turnover in their first year. At one point, the demand was so high that they had no cars left. They were receiving over 80 inquiries a week, and as a new company, it was challenging to satisfy the demand.

Sydney Luxury Hire has been adding to their fleet to keep up. The corporate environment is being revolutionized by artificial intelligence (AI), which is also altering how organizations function. Companies can rethink their plans and gain from AI with the help of emerging AI technologies like ChatGPT and Google’s Bard. Tech juggernaut Kennected is leading the charge in advising companies on how to reimagine their strategy for 2023.

Devin Johnson, the CEO of Kennected, is a mentor to aspiring business owners. He stresses that the environment for creating a successful company is changing exponentially and that the advent of new AI technology is an evolutionary marker of how all business owners should incorporate new software and run their operations in a progressive manner.

A new company venture or entrepreneurial endeavor can be an exhilarating and difficult experience. Making your voice heard and getting noticed is still growing harder with all the new entrepreneurs entering the market. AI can help in this situation. Entrepreneurs may concentrate on more strategic and creative work by using AI to automate repetitive chores and measure time. In order to stay competitive, Johnson counsels clients to embrace the development of new technology.

Organizations may gain a lot from AI technologies in terms of productivity, effectiveness, and competitiveness. The automation of repetitive work is one of the main advantages of AI. AI technologies can increase productivity by automating monotonous operations, allowing staff to concentrate on more strategic and innovative work.

AI technologies can also analyze large amounts of data and identify patterns and insights that would be difficult for humans to spot, enabling organizations to make more informed decisions and improve decision-making.

In addition, AI technologies can help organizations streamline processes and workflows, reducing the time and resources required to complete tasks and increasing efficiency. AI technologies can also personalize customer experiences and improve customer service, helping organizations build stronger relationships and improve the overall customer experience.

Another advantage of adopting AI technologies is a competitive advantage that it provides. Organizations that adopt AI technologies can gain a competitive advantage over their peers, enabling them to remain ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving market. Using AI technologies can help organizations stay ahead of their competitors by providing them with a competitive edge in terms of efficiency, effectiveness, and competitiveness.

Johnson highlights the significance of becoming proficient with the instruments, understanding their function, and developing novel business practices. Businesses that use AI technologies can gain a competitive advantage, automate monotonous operations, enhance decision-making, boost efficiency, and create better consumer experiences. Businesses will do business differently in the future, and those that adopt AI will be more prepared to thrive in a market that is changing quickly.
