Lacee Keller on Overcoming Challenges and Making the Most out of Life and Its Setbacks

Lacee Keller grappled with the reality of a broken family when she was six, with her parents’ divorce. Two years later, she won her first world title with horses. Lacee Keller went from getting her leg broken to becoming overweight, flipping her car five times at 18 and undergoing weight surgery at 21. Overcoming her eating habits was Lacee’s first step toward a wholesome life, and from that point onward, she never looked back. She attended St. Thomas University first before transferring to SHSU as a broadcast journalism/political science student. She fell in love with the horse team and the horse judging team during her time at SHSU and got back to winning ways. She won the first College Ranch Horse Pleasure – Reserve in the Fence and Reining, and from that point, she got her eyes set on winning the prize at all times. 

Lacee was working as a healthcare marketer and quickly moved up the career ladder. Her mother got diagnosed with cancer, and for the next two and a half years, Lacee spent all her time with her and quit her job. Her mom’s health improved, and less than a year later, Lacee had an accident that made the doctors say they would amputate her leg. After spending a year and a half in a wheelchair and another year in neuro rehab, Lacee started walking with a cane. She entered a pageantry despite walking with a cane and won.

As a person, Lacee Keller has overcome seemingly insurmountable odds and trumped them all. Daniel’s main challenge before beginning this endeavor was finding his actual purpose and passion. Despite having a lot of money, Daniel felt hollow before the insight that led him to build the God Walk app. He sought clarification because he wanted to understand his vocation. He received the directive to introduce as many individuals as possible to God. What Daniel does isn’t a business, it is all about teaching individuals to trust God and assisting them in finding solutions. Chris Meneses has always been a man with big dreams. Even though life gave him many challenges, Chris moved past them and took control of his story. Giving up was never an option for Chris. Instead, he made great things happen for himself. Rising far beyond his humble beginnings, Chris Meneses is now a successful entrepreneur and content creator who seeks to inspire the next generation of Latin American entrepreneurs. 

Chris Meneses was born into a low-income family. He remembers how his family would have to wash their clothes in the river when he was growing up. But, like many children, he was drawn to the heroes he saw on-screen. “Ever since I was little, I dreamed of becoming an actor,” Chris shared. However, Hollywood was not kind to his dreams. With so many individuals trying to make it in the film industry, Chris faced a lot of competition and rejection. “Casting was difficult. Sometimes production would think I didn’t look Latino enough. Or they thought my accent was wrong for the part,” he shared. But instead of giving up his dreams, Chris turned to content creation. If Hollywood had no room for him, he thought, then he would create a space of his own and share his own stories.

On YouTube, Chris found a niche for super-productions and content centered around personal development, empowerment, and financial development. Through his videos, Chris Meneses shared how he rose out of poverty, as well as advice on how to move up and forward in life by making wise financial decisions. But as a proud Latin American, Chris felt the need to build another channel, this time using Spanish as his medium. He called it Hablando con Chris, and here he produces high-quality, documentary-style content. He talks about various topics on this channel, including sports, politics, finance, and pop culture. Chris’s ability to break down a topic and discuss things in an approachable manner makes his videos stand out. Aside from regularly updating his followers on his personal online platforms, Chris also collaborates with other content creators in making videos for a channel with over two million subscribers. He said, “Sharing my story, knowledge and experiences is a fulfilling way to spend my time. I’m grateful I can create meaningful connections with a massive audience and inspire them to improve their lives.”

Aside from his work as a content creator, Chris Meneses has also built a solid career in business. In fact, he is a top Customer Relationship Management (CRM) specialist, boosting various companies’ sales through his skills and expertise. Chris has also used his knowledge of content creation and social media to help several business owners reach new audiences.
