AEG Distro Giving Artists a Platform to Get Their Music to Their Audience and Make a Fortune from Their Talent

AEG Distro is the product of living life as a musician and pivoting fully to business. Founded by rapper and entrepreneur Shortyo, the self-acclaimed “King of the Kounty,” AEG Distro is trying to replicate what typical music distribution does but with a little more to include record label services. The journey to AEG Distro becoming a reality started years ago when Shortyo began his music career. He fell in love with hip-hop listening to music by NWA, Eazy-e, and Ice T even though his home state, Pennsylvania, had hip-hop artists like Grandmaster Flash, KRS 1, and other musicians who dominated the East Coast scene at the time.

From his first rap group with two friends in grade school, which earned him a nomination for “Most Destined for Rap Stardom” by his eighth-grade teacher, he went on to have a rap music career that has earned him some success.

Looking back at his career over the years, Shortyo said, “Music is something I love wholeheartedly. Money was never a motivation for me, as I wasn’t doing it for money.”

In 2004, he entered a rap battle competition called “The Cypher” on 100.3 The Beat (Radio-One) in Philadelphia and won against his opponents for ten consecutive weeks. Five years later, he released his first album titled King of the Kounty, which peaked at number 59 on the US Billboard Top 200 Chart.

Shortyo was on a laser-focused drive towards success. The first single on the album titled “Stripper” featured Grammy Award-winning artist Young Berg and the next single titled “That’s Right” featured multi-platinum and Grammy Award-winning rapper Lil Wayne.

Over a decade after his professional sojourn into the music industry began, Shortyo has decided to go into the music business by establishing his own music distribution company.

“We offer the same distribution services as DistroKid, except we also offer label services to artists without being tied down to an exclusive record contract,” he said. AEG Distro offers artists advances on future royalties, music video development, social media marketing and promotion, and radio marketing and servicing.

AEG Distro sets itself apart by offering artists things no other digital distributor currently offers. Shortyo understands how challenging it is for many musicians to get their music out to their audience, and he’s willing to contribute to that. His goal is to build AEG Distro into the biggest digital music distributor while helping upcoming and established artists reach audiences globally. Known by his full name, Timothy Jacob Barnes, the sports personality has often emphasized the need for the overall well-being of an individual. Music enthusiasts of the ’80s to the early 1990s know the name Virgin Records Ltd. The British independent record label stood behind the success of platinum-record artists such as Janet Jackson, Phil Collins, Lenny Kravitz, Paula Abdul, Devo, Genesis, the Human League, Culture Club, Simple Minds, and Mike Oldfield, to name a few. 

This year, to the excitement of fans worldwide, the company is proud to announce its official return.

Established in 1972 by the entrepreneurs Richard Branson, Nik Powell, Simon Draper, and celebrated musician Tom Newman, Virgin Records Ltd. was expected to succeed. Television Star Sarah Hyland’s Relentless Pursuit in the Entertainment World and Overcoming Health Obstacles

Dynasties play a significant role in nearly every industry imaginable today. From politics and doctors to smaller business forms, established families often steer the next generation towards continuing the legacy they already set. However, there can be times when the industry can be overwhelming. Veteran actor Edward James Hyland has been around Hollywood long enough to know how exhausting it can be there. However, his daughter, Sarah Hyland, was adamant about making it and is best-known today as a member of the comedy ensemble of Modern Family.

Born in Manhattan, New York, to Edward James Hyland and Melissa Canaday, Sarah grew up in her family’s apartment with acting in her blood. Watching her parents work was the primary source of inspiration as she envisioned following in their footsteps. Her father, however, knew how complex the entertainment industry could be and wanted her to take a different career. In the end, Sarah would have her way, earning her first role at the age of five.

Playing the role of Howard Stern’s daughter in the 1997 film ‘Private Parts,’ Sarah would continue pursuing more roles. She would act alongside Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd in ‘The Object of My Affection’ before seeking more roles in television films.

Despite working towards an acting career, Sarah Hyland continued her studies, attending the Profession performing Arts School to polish her craft. At the same time, she struggled with kidney dysplasia, which was often evident to her co-workers behind the scene. Throughout the years, Sarah would go through several surgeries to improve her health. 

Although the pain persisted, Sarah endured through it all. When she turned eighteen, Sarah’s determination saw her switch from living in New York to Los Angeles. Her decision proved to be a blessing because only one month later, she would join the ensemble of Modern Family, for which she would be best remembered as Haley Dunphy.

During the early years of her career in Modern Family, Sarah’s kidney would continue to worsen. It became too painful for her to stand up straight and filmed some scenes leaning against a table or a wall. By 2012, she had to undergo a transplant from her father. For a while, the matter seemed resolved before the kidney failed, resulting in the need for a second transplant. This time, her younger brother Ian would step up to help her recover. Following the surgeries, Sarah would resume her work, impressing her onscreen family with her stoic drive to continue in front of the camera. 

Although Sarah spent the better part of her career with the show, she managed to earn guest roles in other projects like ‘Punk’d,’ ‘Bonnie & Clyde’, and ‘Childrens Hospital,’ to name a few. Additionally, Sarah started to showcase her singing abilities, covering songs like ‘Closer’ and ‘Don’t Wanna Know’ with Boyce Avenue.

Since leaving home to make it out on her own, Sarah Hyland has braved through many tribulations, overcoming her health problems and enduring an abusive relationship. Today she is engaged with radio personality Wells Adams. Following the series finale of Modern Family, Sarah is set to join another project produced by ABC titled ‘Yours, Mine, & Paul.’

Twinkle grew up curious about the world around her and sought to expand her understanding of what happened outside the bounds of her little bubble. Her hunger for adventure and knowledge would come to life in a passion for writing, starting as a habit of journaling then evolving into writing for others to read. 

As time went on, writing would remain a constant in her life. It served as her outlet for healing, for herself and others.
