The cloud can provide security advantages, but bringing personal devices into the workplace also creates risks that must be managed.
About future trends, Yousef predicts AI will become a major enabler across industries like cyber security, healthcare, and finance. He believes success will come from marrying business leadership that spots AI opportunities with technical experts who can build solutions.
“There’s a lot of hype, but there are also good things taking shape leveraging AI,” he said. But Yousef cautioned that large language models alone won’t unlock value without sufficient, high-quality data tailored to specific use cases. He sees AI as offering factorial improvements in business performance if thoughtfully applied.

With data analytics playing a central role in his career, Yousef also discussed practices for leveraging data to drive innovation and value. “You have to go through a process of knowing your desired final outcome and working backward,” he explained.
