As streaming platforms continue to shape entertainment, one innovative initiative is poised to change how we experience art. The ART Channel is one of the first streaming networks dedicated to art, culture, and creative storytelling.
This isn’t just another niche platform—it’s a potential game-changer in digital art consumption. Leading the charge are two original productions, with a third launching in Q4: The Andy & Jean Show and The Curator, aiming to redefine how audiences engage with art. The upcoming Cooktop Art Presents: Dish’in will feature Hip-Hop, Pop, and R&B recording artists as hosts.
The ART Channel: Where Technology Meets Art
Traditional media has often relegated art to galleries and museums, catering to a more exclusive audience. The ART Channel is working to break down these barriers in a world driven by social media and digital content, potentially making art accessible globally.
Unlike mainstream streaming giants, The ART Channel functions as an interactive digital gallery, offering:
- Documentaries on emerging and legendary artists
- Live-streamed gallery openings and behind-the-scenes insights
- Interactive features for engaging with artists and their work
- Exclusive interviews and deep dives into art history
- Original animated series reimagining iconic figures
The free, ad-supported platform is designed to help democratize art, integrating content with commerce.
“Art is meant to be experienced, shared, and felt by all,” says Kurt Andrew Swauger, the visionary behind The ART Channel. “We’re working to tear down barriers and make art accessible to millions through digital streaming.”
Kurt Andrew Swauger: The Visionary Behind the ART Channel
Swauger has spent decades pioneering innovation across film, technology, and digital platforms. At 22, he wrote and produced Hauntedween, a cult horror classic. He later founded RealtyOnline, one of the first national MLS real estate databases, and led the U.S. launch of T-Mobile, reshaping the mobile industry.

“Art isn’t meant to be confined—it’s meant to be experienced. The ART Channel is working to make creativity accessible to everyone, everywhere.” – Kurt Andrew Swauger.
Beyond telecommunications, Swauger impacted music with AMG and Agency Music Group, securing deals with Def Jam and Universal Music Group. He also drove AI-powered advancements in InsurTech, creating DRiVR.ai, an award-winning platform that received honors for innovation in 2021-2022.
Now, he’s turning his attention to art, applying his innovative approach to create a new media platform.
“Thirty-five years ago, MTV changed how people experienced music. We aim to do that for art with The ART Channel.”
The Andy & Jean Show: What If Warhol and Basquiat Had Instagram?
This animated series reimagines Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat in today’s digital world.
The show blends:
- Art history with modern Internet culture.
- Satirical commentary on influencer trends.
- A hand-drawn-meets-digital animation style.
With guest appearances from Snoop Dogg, Blake Shelton, and Prince, the show is a vibrant mix of humor, insight, and social critique.
“A lot of people think of Warhol and Basquiat as relics of the past,” Swauger says. “But they were ahead of their time. “This show explores how their influence might translate in today’s hyper-digital world.”

Coming Soon: Cooktop Art Presents: Dish’in
Cooktop Art is turning up the heat with Dish’in, a unique cooking series blending food, music, and art. Hosted by top Hip-Hop, Pop, and R&B recording artists, each episode features a signature dish inspired by their journey and culture.
- Music icons share personal recipes and culinary stories.
- Dishes infused with flavors that shaped their careers.
- A fusion of beats, bites, and behind-the-scenes moments.
“Cooking is an art form, just like music,” says Swauger. “With Dish’in, we’re bringing rhythm to the kitchen and culture to the table.”
