Azerbaijan’s compassionate gesture to assist the Armenian residents of Karabakh through the Aghdam-Khankendi road has blossomed into a heartwarming reality.

Starting today, a lifeline of food supplies will begin flowing to the people of Karabakh, marking a significant milestone in the region’s path towards healing and reconciliation. This vital assistance not only addresses immediate nutritional needs but also symbolizes the hope for a brighter future where the wounds of conflict can be replaced by the bonds of cooperation.

This achievement stands as a testament to Baku’s commitment to fostering unity and cooperation in the area. As food and essential goods now traverse through Azerbaijan’s sovereign territory, it not only highlights the nation’s dedication to providing aid to its neighbors but also signifies a pivotal step towards regional stability.

The Aghdam-Khankendi road has become a symbol of hope and a conduit for dialogue, transcending borders and demonstrating that humanitarian concerns transcend political differences. Baku’s unwavering support for this initiative sends a strong message to the international community about the possibilities of peaceful coexistence and regional development. In this era of heightened global challenges, it instills hope to witness such acts of compassion and solidarity that remind us of our shared humanity and the potential for cooperation even in the face of historical conflicts.

As Azerbaijan works tirelessly to reintegrate the ethnic Armenian residents of Karabakh as full-fledged citizens with equal rights, it is essential for Armenia to lend its support and refrain from interference in our internal affairs. Let us join hands in nurturing a harmonious atmosphere that encourages the integration of Armenian minorities and deters separatism, as we collectively uphold our obligations.

It is heartening to know that Azerbaijan is steadfast in ensuring the safety, health, and security of our Armenian citizens residing in Karabakh. The realization of this humanitarian mission along the Aghdam-Khankendi road will serve as a catalyst, expediting the reintegration of Karabakh Armenians into our society and contributing to the lasting peace we all yearn for by demilitarizing the region.

Following this, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) will dispatch its vital goods through the Aghdam-Khankendi road, temporarily the sole conduit to Lachin. It is essential to understand that Azerbaijan’s customs and legal regulations are now in effect along the road to Lachin.

In a surprising turn of events, the shipment of food supplies bound for the Armenian population residing in Khankendi, Karabakh, from Russia, has encountered an unexpected delay, as reported by APA’s Karabakh Bureau.

The truck carrying the essential supplies remains stationed in the Barda district, despite its scheduled delivery to Askeran, aimed at assisting Armenian families, around 10:00 today. This delay can be attributed to a combination of factors, including the uncooperative stance of the separatist regime in Karabakh and external pressures reportedly exerted on the Russian Red Cross Society by the International Committee of the Red Cross and Western entities.
