In a world where attention spans are measured in seconds, and travelers scroll through countless images before choosing a destination, traditional hotel marketing is no longer enough. Today, boutique hotels and glamping sites face a new challenge: how to truly stand out in a crowded space.
This is where drone video comes in — and how my creative approach is helping unique properties connect with the right audiences in a meaningful and memorable way.
Paradise Ranch Inn, a stunning glamping retreat tucked away in the mountains of Southern California, is a place where cozy design meets wild beauty. When I arrived at the location, I immediately knew this wasn’t just a place to stay — it was a visual story best captured from above.
I filmed the inn using my drone during the golden hour to highlight the circular outdoor pool, forested landscape, elevated cabins, and sweeping mountain views. The video was not just beautiful — it was emotionally driven, thoughtfully composed, and designed to evoke a feeling. And it worked.

After posting, the video quickly went viral on TikTok, reaching over 1.8 million views and being saved by more than 6,000 users in just a few days. Viewers flooded the comments asking where it was and how they could visit. The drone video didn’t just showcase Paradise Ranch Inn — it positioned it as a dream destination.
This is the power of intentional drone video. It allows a property to do more than show its amenities — it makes people feel something. That emotional connection is exactly what today’s travelers are searching for, especially millennials and Gen Z, who prioritize experience, atmosphere, and visual appeal when making travel decisions.
I work with boutique hotels, resorts, and travel brands across the U.S., creating drone content that transforms the way properties present themselves online. Unlike traditional campaigns that rely on basic photos or generic influencer content, my videos combine creative direction, visual production, and a deep understanding of what truly inspires travelers.

What makes my approach unique is how I think through every frame from a guest’s perspective: What makes this place magical? What emotions will this view or lighting bring up? With Paradise Ranch Inn, the answers were clear — harmony, peace, and a reconnection with nature. That’s what I captured in the final video.
The hospitality industry is evolving fast. And drone video isn’t just a trend — it’s an essential marketing tool. These short, dynamic clips stop the scroll on platforms like Instagram and TikTok, drive engagement, and lead directly to bookings. Paradise Ranch Inn is a perfect example of what’s possible when creativity meets the right medium.
In today’s digital landscape, it’s not enough to tell people why your property is special — you have to show them in a way that moves them. Drone video does exactly that. It builds identity. It creates emotion. And most of all, it brings guests one step closer to clicking “Book now.”
