In a world captivated by chaos and coincidence, I’ve spent over four decades exploring one of the most meticulously crafted systems on Earth — the human body. Not as a theologian or philosopher, but as a dentist. Teeth. Gums. Saliva. The ordinary, overlooked elements we often dismiss, yet they reveal something extraordinary.
What I’ve witnessed is nothing short of divine.
I’ve seen the fingerprints of God in enamel’s strength. The intelligence encoded in white blood cells. The compassion behind a body that knows how to cry. The orchestration of liver and saliva function in a six-month-old child. Again and again, biology has whispered what my soul has always known: this is no accident. We were designed, lovingly, intelligently, purposefully.
For years, we’ve been told that faith and science are opponents in a cosmic debate. But after 43 years immersed in the human body’s triumphs and frailties, I can tell you: science hasn’t diminished my belief in God. It’s magnified it.
Each time I explained to a patient how the immune system rallies against infection or how nerves translate signals to the brain, I felt the echo of a deeper truth. We are not random. We are not disposable. We are “fearfully and wonderfully made.”
My new book, *How Marvelous Are Thy Works*, isn’t a textbook or a theological thesis. It’s a practitioner’s meditation, a collection of short stories, clinical insights, and everyday miracles that reaffirm one eternal message: You are not an accident. You are an intentional masterpiece.
Why did I write this book? Because the world is starving for wonder. We’re aching for beauty with meaning, proof that there’s design in the disorder. And I believe one of the most visible, tangible sermons from God is the human body itself.
I’m not here to debate doctrine. I’m not a seminary professor or a lab scientist. I’m just a man who’s seen too much wonder to stay silent. From the dental chair to mission trips abroad, my life has unfolded like a sermon in slow motion. Now, it’s my joy to share that story.
To the skeptic: keep searching. Ask hard questions. Truth welcomes scrutiny. But don’t let analysis steal your awe. Don’t miss the forest for the cells. Sometimes, wonder is the clearest path to faith.
And to the believer: be encouraged. You don’t have to choose between intellect and inspiration. You can marvel at mitochondria and still sing praises. God is in the science. His artistry is written into our DNA.
This isn’t just anatomy. It’s worship.
We were not thrown together. We were knit, molecule by molecule, by a Creator who rejoices in both mystery and mechanics.
And that, my friends, is a truth worth celebrating.
