Abhilash Katari is a seasoned Data Solutions Architect with expertise in critical projects involving Data Migration to the Cloud and upgrading end-of-life Products, particularly with Cloudera. As an AWS Solutions Architect and certified Snowflake SnowPro Core professional, he conducts POCs for Data Warehousing migrations. He specializes in Data and Fintech, leveraging a foundation in Engineering and hands-on IT experience. 

His expertise includes data replication, building data pipelines, tech refresh projects, data mesh implementation, and cloud migration.

He also has a successful track record of leading projects that resulted in significant cost savings by optimizing power consumption and space within data centers as a Data Center Migrations and Restack Engineer Lead. He has worked with organizations such as Persistent Systems, NTT DATA INC., and Microinfo Inc., which has helped him climb the ladder of success meteorically. 

For the amelioration of society, he utilizes his technical achievement for dedicated philanthropic work, where he has mentored individuals in remote South African and Indian areas, focusing on developing communication skills and professional growth. An environmentalist at heart, he has been a proud member of IEMA and has collaborated with multiple organizations to reduce carbon emissions. He also contributed to planting 20,000 trees in Austin to improve the ecosystem. Additionally, he has volunteered his technical skills for social good, participated in events like Tech for Social Good, and contributed to cybersecurity initiatives for a positive impact.

Abhilash’s journey began in Electronics and Communication Engineering, where he built a strong foundation. He then transitioned into the IT industry, initially as a Programmer Analyst. This pivotal step ignited his passion for data, leading him to specialize in Data and Fintech. His diverse background merges academic knowledge from his engineering and analytics studies with practical experience in IT, giving him a unique and well-rounded perspective. This allows him to approach challenges in these dynamic industries with versatility. Throughout his career, he has undertaken critical roles at esteemed organizations, equipping him with a comprehensive understanding of these industries and their evolving demands.

He mentions, “As a Solutions Architect, I’ve worked on data replication, building data pipelines from proof of concept to go-live, tech refresh projects, implementing data mesh architectures, and leading cloud migration efforts. These experiences at top organizations have given me a deep understanding of these dynamic industries and their evolving needs.”

His illustrious career includes leading critical data migration projects for seamless transitions to the cloud. He then spearheaded cost-saving projects by optimizing data center operations. For project success, he put his heart and soul into all areas and eventually excelled in cross-functional collaborations. He was also instrumental in innovative solutions to streamline operations while always upholding ethical practices and prioritizing honesty and integrity in all his endeavors.

He has been bestowed with many certifications for his incredible work, which includes being an AWS Solutions Architect, where he has demonstrated his expertise in designing and implementing versatile cloud solutions, which has been a pivotal asset in his career. He is also certified as a Snowflake SnowPro Core professional, showcasing his proficiency in crafting robust data warehousing solutions. He has also conducted over five mentorship sessions on the ADP List, which he feels is fulfilling in guiding and supporting individuals in their professional journeys.
