Beauty might be in the eye of the beholder, but after a chilly winter my face was screaming for some TLC. Sunny weather makes us want to look fresh and a good skin regiment is a must.
Then I heard from a friend of mine who always looks impeccable, that the most exciting spa she had visited in the last two years was Attain Med Spa in Hoboken. The spa has age forward treatments from 21st century that are wondrous. I made an appointment, and Ubered to Hoboken.
Once inside the sunny Loft Like Space, I was greeted by their wonderful staff. I was lucky enough to meet the owner, the slim and pretty Lauren Ben-Meir. She struck me as a go getter immediately. Juggling four children and three businesses with a fourth business on the way, she is calm and measured.
I listened to Lauren’s recommendation and tried their Jet Peel: The futuristic treatment has many parts to it. First Lymphatic Drainage which is done with specially formulated detox water, then Exfoliation with active ingredients and last Infusion with bioactive skin ingredients infused deep into the dermis via a patented hand-piece. All natural, nutrient rich formulas include vitamins and minerals.
Afterwards, my skin looked five years younger than when I entered. The med spa, which features a medical director, also offers injectables like filler, Kybella and good old Botox. Attain has become quite famous for their painless and effective laser treatments with little or no down time. From Laser Hair Removal to Laser Skin Resurfacing which is popular with the likes of Caitlin Burke and Tinamarie Clark, who are regulars at Attain Hoboken. While The Attain MedSpa at Jersey Shore is frequented by it girl/creator Lainy Hedaya Hoffstein.

“Attain is my vision and lifework” Lauren’s priority is to inspire her all female staff to fulfill their dreams and to encourage them to move up within her company. Many of her staff members work around their life responsibilities with children, husband, and parents who might need them. She gives them a flexible schedule to accommodate their life. She knows what it is like to have to take care of a sick child while still having a career.
Lauren lived in Manhattan for many years as many of Hoboken Residents had. She was in Marketing for quite a bit of time and in product development for Sakara Life, a company with a cult like following. When she met her husband Dr. Ron Ben-Meir, they made the decision to open a 21st century spa in their new hometown of Hoboken.
Attain has locations also, at the beach of Allenhurst, NJ, and everyone’s favorite southern town, Charleston, S.C
