Atlante dell’ARTE Contemporanea is the oldest illustrated publication in Italy. Dating all the way back to 1940, the periodical is dedicated to art and the art market.
The new book “Atlante dell’Arte Contemporanea 2023-2024” is celebrating this history with a presentation at the Metropolitan Museum in New York. This new volume includes masterpiece paintings by artists from all over the world spanning the last 60-80 years, as well as works by new artists, from the promising to the already successful.
The presentation will take place on the 25th of May 2024 in the Metropolitan Museum of Art – Bonnie J.Sacerdote Lecture Hall-Ruth and Harold D.Uris Center for Education. This choice of venue is no accident. The MET is one of the largest museums in the world, and contains one of the largest art collections to boot. This includes a collection of outstanding Impressionist and post-Impressionist works, such as: Manet, Dali, Picasso, Renoir, Van Gogh, Morizot, Gauguin, Signac and others.
The “Contemporanea” component of the Atlante dell’Arte Contemporanea delineates that this one of a kind collection features the most outstanding painters of today. Critics and experts in the field of fine arts tirelessly identify new talents with great prospects.
Among them is Anastasia Yanchuk, a modern artist whose paintings fuse realism with elements of pop art. Anastasia shared that this is her second time being published in this great collection, the first time being back in 2021. It is not surprising that the Atlante dell’Arte Contemporanea has occupied a central place on Anastasia’s shelf for many years! “To participate in such an event, especially as a creator, is a great honor for me, “ Anastasia said, “because it shows that I have really managed to distinguish myself from the general background of contemporary art. People like my seascapes and portraits of women, they order my paintings and admire them in their homes or offices, not just in museums. As a professional artist, this is a big step for me, not only in terms of developing myself and my artistic abilities, but also maintaining national (and international) art at a high level.”

To attend the presentation of “Atlante dell’Arte Contemporanea” beholding masters of the craft is a unique opportunity to experience exquisite masterpieces of the art world! Anastasia Yanchuk added that she does not just paint pictures, she reflects reality, and touches on topical issues in society. Each painting is the result of a search, imagination, and the use of special materials that give the works a 3D effect. Female portraits, seascapes seem to go beyond the canvas, becoming part of our physical space.
