The crowds quickly grew to love him, thanks to his big-scoring games and dynamic performance. His standout moment arrived in the 2006/2007 season when he tallied 71 points in 82 games showcasing his skills as a forward.
Following the NHL lockout in the 2004/2005 season Frolov returned to Russia. Initially played for CSKA Moscow before moving on to Dynamo Moscow. His stint in the Russian Super League was highlighted by achievements, including clinching the Russian Championship title in 2005.
Due to an injury setback Frolov concluded his time with the team. Made a return to his homeland to continue pursuing his professional hockey career there. During his career he kept playing for teams in Russia demonstrating his outstanding skills yet again by guiding the team to multiple prosperous seasons.
All through his career, he kept on succeeding as a central member for the Russian club, partaking in different global rivalries including the Olympics—a dream for any young player, to be sure.
