Since 2021, Irit has served as the Executive Vice President of the Young Israel of Scarsdale organization. Additionally, she sits on the Board of the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs and remains involved with organizations such as The Tikvah Fund. She is a conservative republican residing in New York and has opined on the challenges of being conservative in a predominantly blue state. In March 2023, Irit Tratt was featured as one of four panelists at the Algemeiner Club event, Meet the Warriors of the New Battleground.
Irit Tratt graduated with her master’s degree from The George Washington University where she studied International Affairs with a specialized focus on the Middle East. Her graduate school experiences would pave the way for a prolific career which included time as a legislative assistant handling foreign affairs for members of Congress. Today, Irit is a freelance writer who has contributed to prominent publications such as The American Spectator, JNS, the Jerusalem Post, and the Algemeiner. Her political commentary and insightful reports on cultural, geopolitical, and international news matters has earned her acknowledgements and accolades within the writing community.
