Building an excellent reputation is key in the career of any surgeon. On top of obtaining a medical degree, undertaking rigorous specialist training programmes and receiving board accreditation, a successful facial plastic surgeon must demonstrate skill, competence, and a dedication to providing positive outcomes. Hands-on clinical experience from reputable medical facilities allows surgeons to further develop their talent and refine their expertise. Contributing to scientific research and publications in peer-reviewed journals allows surgeons to establish themselves as forward-thinking and thought leaders. Staying updated on the latest breakthroughs and innovations of their respective field allows a surgeon to deliver the most effective approaches supported by evidence-based therapies.
