McKade Levi Marshall, born September 4, 1984, is an American author, business consultant, web series host, and actor. With a career that bridges the worlds of business, writing, and media, Marshall is known for his work in Christian media and his dedication to charitable causes. From hosting YouTube series and producing Christian talk shows to authoring books that encourage faith-based living, Marshall has focused on spreading messages of hope, love, and personal growth through the lens of his Christian beliefs.
A Diverse Career in Faith and Media
Marshall’s journey into the public eye began in the business world, but his path eventually shifted to a broader stage. He launched his weekly YouTube series, Word of the Week, in January 2017, where he shares gospel teachings with a global audience. This series gradually gained a following, attracting viewers from over 145 countries. Marshall offers spiritual insights through these weekly episodes and encourages viewers to deepen their faith in everyday life. Alongside his video content, he publishes a quarterly newsletter that continues to reach an expanding base of subscribers.
Expanding his media presence, McKade Marshall serves as the executive producer and host of The Better View with McKade, a Christian talk show that explores real-life issues from a faith-based perspective. Co-hosted by Mary Boland, Tanner Scott, and Amanda Tabor, the show fosters open discussions on how faith can be applied practically to navigate life’s challenges. Marshall’s philanthropic work also extends internationally. After a two-week missionary trip with Iris Global to a Zimpeto orphanage in Mozambique, Africa, he fell seriously ill upon returning home. The life-threatening hallucinations caused by his malaria medication did not deter his passion for humanitarian work. Instead, these experiences appear to have strengthened his resolve to support global poverty relief and humanitarian aid efforts.

In addition to his faith-based media work, McKade Marshall has explored a career in acting. His entry into the performing arts began with a chance encounter during college when a Jewish photographer whose family owned a jewelry store in New York’s Diamond District introduced him to modeling high-end accessories. This experience marked his first step into the world of acting and performance, leading to further opportunities in Malibu. There, he connected with actress Trish Van Devere Scott and later studied acting under the guidance of actress Kate Jackson.
Marshall’s experiences in acting and media production have added another dimension to his public persona, enabling him to express his creativity and share his message of faith through various platforms. Marshall is currently working on his fifth book, which delves into the topic of generational blessings and curses. This upcoming project explores the influence of family history on personal lives and the choices individuals face in embracing or breaking inherited patterns.
He believes that while family lines carry both blessings and struggles, individuals can—with faith and intentionality—actively decide what to carry forward and what to leave behind. This theme may resonate with readers, touching on the universal experience of shaping one’s identity while honoring or redefining family legacy.
In addition to his work as an author, Marshall is also venturing into screenwriting. His current screenplay explores the journey of a fictional character who grapples with the allure of the Hollywood Dream and the realities of self-discovery. Marshall acknowledges the complexity of this new creative path, admitting that he sometimes feels overwhelmed by the challenges. However, he remains committed to learning and growing through the process, finding inspiration in the unique opportunities storytelling provides.
