Will’s journey began as a hip-hop artist, where he would cut his own hair before performing with his group, Orbit X. While he was in the music space he collaborated with artists such as Sadat X from Brand Nubian, and also did a mixtape that featured known artists. He would also perform at the Opera House as well and a few other spots around the city of Toronto. His haircuts were so good that people began to ask him where he got his hair cut, and he would tell them that he cut it himself. This led to him cutting his friends’ hair and eventually building a small shop in his garage.
However, Will’s path took a dark turn when he got caught up with the wrong crowd. Barbering became his saving grace, and he eventually enrolled in hairstyling school before transitioning back to barbering. He studied barbers on YouTube and landed a job at the Barbershop Vaughan Mills, where he has been for nine years and has built a loyal client base.
Will’s unique story and dedication to his craft have not gone unnoticed. He participated in the Flawless Fade Championship at the 2023 Iconic Men Barber Expo, which proves his talent and skill and the years of work he put into it.
