The entrepreneurial landscape is replete with brilliant individuals whose skills and incredible work ethic have allowed them to translate their visions into reality. With the advent of technology and the digital age, the future can only get brighter for these visionary leaders. Here are some of the outstanding entrepreneurs who have made it to the top 10. 

  1. Elon Musk

Elon Musk was born on June 28, 1971, in Pretoria, South Africa. In 1995, he established his first company, Zip2 Corporation, with his brother, Kimbal Musk. Four years later, a division of Compaq Computer Corporation bought Zip2 for $307 million in cash and $34 million in stock options. The siblings then used the money from their sale of Zip2 to launch X.com, an online financial services company. An X.com acquisition the following year would lead to the creation of PayPal as it is known today.

Musk founded his third company, Space Exploration Technologies Corporation, or SpaceX, in 2002. Fast forward to today, he stands as the esteemed co-founder, CEO, and product architect at Tesla Motors.

      2. Kelly Hyman

Kelly Hyman was born in Miami Beach, Florida. A native Floridian, Kelly Hyman is an Australian American who was raised by a single mother in New York City and in Southern California. Kelly Hyman has appeared in numerous print ads, and commercials. Kelly Hyman was nominated for a Youth in Film award along with her childhood best friend, Shalane McCall, who played Charlie Wade on Dallas. Kelly Hyman is best known for playing the role of Loretta on the Young and the Restless. She also played Norman Fell from Three’s Company daughter on Gettin’ There. Kelly Hyman also performed Off- Broadway in New York City. Kelly Hyman played the role of Donna in the Movie Doin’ Time on Planet Earth with Adam West from Batman. Kelly Hyman is also a voice actor, her voice has been heard in numerous ads including in the Kit Kat “Give me a break” ad. Kelly Hyman earned a Bachelor’s degree in communications from UCLA. 

While in college, Kelly Hyman was an intern at the Office of Presidential Inquires at The White House. In 2003, she was awarded a J.D., with honors from the University of Florida College of Law. Kelly Hyman is the former President of the Federal Bar, Palm Beach Chapter. Kelly Hyman was also on the Board of Directors for Dress for Success, Palm Beach. Kelly Hyman, a lifelong democratic has volunteered for President Obama’s election and reelection. She has also been a volunteer for the democratic party as a poll watcher to protect voter rights during the presidential election. Kelly Hyman is a television legal analysis and has appeared numerous times on Law & Crime, Fox News, CourtTV, OANN and Fox and Friends First.

She has also appeared on BBC, ABC, NBC LX, The Ingraham Angle, I24News and NewsmaxTV. She has also appeared on America This Week with Eric Bolling on ABC and Watters’ World on Fox. Linda Washington is a heroine; a singer, songwriter, author, and breast cancer survivor. She has detailed her fight in her latest “Missing You” with Linda featuring superstar Lamar is a song that details a personal and emotional journey for the artist. It will change the lives of those who listen to Linda’s music.

“Missing You” contains both sadness and joy with its lyrics. It is about a loss of self but also about finding love again. Linda’s strong voice is accompanied by superstar Lamar’s strong vocals. The smooth rhythms in the music will fill the hearts of listeners, showing them they can still find love. All of this is done with a melodic R&B sound. Linda’s breast cancer battle has also been detailed in her book “Forbidden And Broken Finding Love Behind The Scars.” The book is an emotional journey through Linda’s fight and her years as a survivor. The story is meant to inspire others to think of themselves as a person, not just a disease. Linda Washington is a talented author and singer who experienced the battle for her life. The cancer fight inspired her to make music a part of her healing journey. The Uruguayan electronics and telecommunication engineer is also known as the entrepreneurial powerhouse behind Chipsafer, a software platform to track cattle and detect any anomalies in their behavior. She is the recipient of numerous awards, such as the Best Young Inventor Award from the World Intellectual Property Organization in 2013, the Most Innovative Startup of Latin America and the Caribbean in 2014 by the Inter-American Development Bank, and Innovator of the Year – Argentina & Uruguay by  MIT Technology Review, and Top 100 Women in the Vital Voices Global Leadership Network in 2016.
