No Degree, No Investors: The Zab Twins’ Amazon Journey

By: Shawn Mars

At a time when many young professionals are buried under student debt, chasing promotions, and struggling to find purpose in the corporate grind, twin brothers Arek and Brian Zabierek – better known as The Zab Twins – are writing their rulebook.

By age 25, the Canadian-born brothers had launched over 30 private-label products on Amazon FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon), built multiple eCommerce brands from scratch, and created a mentorship platform that’s helped people launch businesses.

What makes their story different?
There are no investors, no business degrees, no shortcuts. Just discipline, digital savvy, and a clear goal: freedom.

From Recruitment Desks to Digital Brands

The Zab Twins didn’t grow up with entrepreneurial blueprints. Raised by immigrant parents in a household that valued stability and structure, their first steps after college were traditional: securing recruitment jobs, climbing the ladder, and following the plan.

But as they approached their early twenties, something shifted.

“We were putting in long hours to build someone else’s dream,” says Arek. “We started asking, ‘What if we put this energy into building something of our own?’”

They began experimenting with Amazon FBA in 2019 – starting with a single product, no experience, and a few hundred dollars in startup capital. The learning curve was steep, but they stuck with it. Their early hustle flipping sneakers and reselling online gave them a scrappy mindset. What followed was a gradual but steady climb.

Building Brands, Not Just Products

Over time, Arek and Brian began shifting away from quick-turn tactics common in the online business. They gradually focused on building more authentic brands—products supported by thoughtful positioning, meaningful stories, and sustainable systems.

Instead of chasing viral hits, they built quietly. They focused on strong operations, dialed in their supply chain, and created a process they could replicate — not just for themselves but eventually for others.

That led to the launch of FBA Start-Up, a mentorship platform designed to teach everyday people how to launch Amazon FBA brands without hype or guesswork. Their approach is rooted in systems, data, and long-term thinking—not overnight success.

“We’re not interested in being influencers,” says Brian. “We want to build something real and help others do the same.”

A New Face of Entrepreneurship

What makes The Zab Twins stand out isn’t just their age and mindset. They’ve chosen focus over flash, operations over optics, and real-world results over digital noise.

Their work has caught the attention of major platforms like Amazon Ads, Alibaba, and Helium 10, with whom they’ve partnered on educational content and webinars. But despite the exposure, they’ve remained grounded in the fundamentals: build something that works and help others do the same.

Offline, they stay active in their local community, speaking at schools and running donation drives to support needy families. It’s part of their broader philosophy: success means nothing if you’re not pulling others up with you.

What’s Next?

Today, Arek and Brian split their time between scaling their brands and mentoring a global community of sellers, many launching their first business with only a laptop and a goal.

For Gen Z professionals navigating a shifting economy, The Zab Twins are proof that there’s another path –  one that doesn’t require a pitch deck, Ivy League degree, or startup funding.

It just takes a clear system, a willingness to fail forward, and the discipline to keep showing up.
