As a result, at the same time as the job loss, she lost her housing. She was subject to living in a hotel and her friend’s couch for a couple of weeks. Months later, on the brink of a national crisis and lack of security in the job market, she took a leap of faith and began her own venture. Furthermore, her desire to create meaningful change led her to pursue her own business despite adversity and housing insecurity.
