Jared Overeem’s overnight success in 2020 was 10 years in the making.

This is the story of a self-made entrepreneur and successful music manager who’s transforming the way deals are done between a manager and an artist.

No matter how the Hollywood industry may seem glamorous from the outside, it’s not easy to break into. You can also wave this career of yours goodbye if you don’t have strong connections in entertainment.

This was a similar case for Queens, N.Y native Jared Overeem, who dared to dream about launching his career as a music manager but didn’t know the ins and outs of the music industry and the daily grind this business comes with.

Overeem’s company “Overdrive” seems to have hit its revolutionary “break out” during the COVID-19 lockdown, and Overeem’s self-learned entrepreneurial wits got mentioned in leading media channels, including Yahoo Finance. While COVID-19 proved it hard for new artists to get recognized, Jared was being featured as the “TOP 5 MUSIC MANAGERS OF THE PANDEMIC” – all due to his efforts to uplift artists like never before.

He has also released a record with a Hollywood socialite and icon, Paris Hilton, under his label, Overdrive. Jared has also had another brilliant collaboration with LODATO on the original single, “GOOD,” which earned him a no. 1 spot in the U.S. on Dance Radio Chart. In the same year, a record deal was signed with Spinnin Records, who called LODATO “one of the pioneers of the Dance/POP Genre.”

Reflecting on his formative years, Jared said, “There’s nothing that can prepare you for this world. But one thing is sure; hard work and consistency always win.” Today, Overeem is satisfied with everything life has thrown at him because that only pushed him to go harder, face rejection with grace, and move forward in life.
