Brandon Trentalange: Revolutionizing the Use of Drone Technology Around the Country

Drone technology is changing the way many industries are doing their businesses. Construction companies, real estate brokerages, and agricultural firms have started integrating the use of drones as a tool to make their tasks onsite easier, and completed faster.

Amidst this growing trend, Brandon Trentalange is at the forefront of training new drone pilots to acquire their drone license, and understand the capabilities of the technology.

Brandon is the CEO and founder of Altitude University, an advanced training platform for professionals in the drone industry. The University offers online courses to individuals and corporations who wish to get their drone certification. Advanced classes will soon be available for commercial sectors who want to learn the latest trends and technology available and how they can use it to their advantage.

At present, projects involving scientific aerial imaging and ground sensor data are being overseen by the University. The helpful technologies that will be made available to clients include 3D modeling compatible with standard software such as CivilCad, AutoCad, and GIS systems. Clients can request for topographical land analysis surveys, building information modeling, and building inspections. More jobs are expected to open for drone pilots through the Altitude Pilot Community and its partners across the country.

Over 3,000 people have become certified drone pilots through Brandon’s commitment to help and train them. Most of them have been employed in high-paying jobs after getting their certification. Brandon’s vision to equip more professional drone pilots is a response to a pressing need in the market today. Drones are known to be very helpful in collecting data needed by many companies.

Adjustments in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rules and regulations have allowed the legal and safer use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). This new set of rules and regulations has opened up doors for drone pilots to provide valuable services in big industries.

Brandon’s passion for drones started when he was very young. During high school, he worked with some of the most luxurious real estate agents to get clear and astounding aerial shots of multi-million dollar properties in Southern California. This started a new wave of marketing strategies for high-end properties in Rancho Santa Fe, California.

His big break came when one day, he noticed a 250-acre land being developed in Orange County, California. He saw the engineers surveying the area by foot and making notes on progress using a pen and paper. Nobody thought of using a drone to inspect the development of the project. Fortunately, he was looking for an opportunity to explore other drone capabilities. It was then that he realized drone technology could overwhelmingly change the speed and accuracy of completing construction projects.

Brandon ended up closing a deal with the company developing the property. He would do aerial surveys of the construction site frequently for 8 months. That single opportunity gave birth to countless lessons and realizations. These eventually led to the establishment of the University.

In the past, Brandon has worked with big companies that include Coastal Premier Properties, Syngenta, Cushman & Wakefield, Irvine Company, and BrightView Development. His collaborations with individuals at NASA and Caltech’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory were some of his most important projects. He also worked with some professional athletes, and some of them ride for Monster Energy at present. Some of them also competed in numerous X Games.

The young CEO’s long-term vision is to create more reliable professional drone pilots and create a community. His hope for the community is that its members continue to uphold the importance of helping the environment and simplifying workflows for big industries.

Altitude University is also on Instagram for updates. Get to know more of Brandon through his website.
