When Stranger Things Season Four arrived, it was no surprise that people quickly binged the series. The show’s loyal following had been waiting over three years for this season and they weren’t going to miss their chance at seeing their favorite characters.
With Season Four, Stranger Things took their already popular series and extended the runtime to more than an hour for each episode. This not only allowed them to update the storylines but also include new characters.
The fans were left feeling incomplete after episode seven. It turned out that Stranger Things had pioneered a one-season two volumes edition for the latest season, leaving many wondering when Volume Two will drop and how many more episodes are left in total.
It was revealed that there are only two episodes left for the season, both of which will be arriving on Netflix on July 1, 2022.
With only two episodes left, viewers will want to tune in for the big finish. The Duffer Brothers have revealed that their eighth episode will be over one hour long while the finale reaches nearly three hours.
The last two episodes of Stranger Things will pick up in Vecna’s lair, where Nancy found herself witnessing the birth of the season’s primary villain. He was revealed to be Henry Creel, son of Robert Englund’s character and the first experiment from the same lab that produced Millie Bobby Brown’s Eleven.
Regarding Eleven’s story, she finally learns about her role in the death of her fellow experiments and how she inadvertently created Vecna. Additionally, Jonathan, Mike, Will, and Argyle are on the road to try to warn her of the danger headed towards her.
The remaining teens in Hawkins must put their heads together and find a solution to bring Nancy back from Vecna’s realm. Meanwhile, Hopper, Joyce, Murray, and Dimitri are cornered in a Russian prison filled with guards and a hungry Demogorgon.
The conclusion of the season has arrived and it’s time for our characters to say goodbye. The Duffer Brothers also revealed they have an ending in mind for the series finale next season.
