Amidst the chaos, runnerthewriter found solace in music. At the age of thirteen, his older brother gifted him an old electric guitar, which became his refuge in a turbulent world. Music became his constant companion, a respite from the tumultuous surroundings. From a tiny room in an industrial factory, runnerthewriter honed his skills, learning songs by ear on a small radio. With nothing but a mattress on the floor, his love for music became a beacon of hope.

At fifteen, runnerthewriter joined his first band, No Sense, a pop-punk/emo group hailing from Lomita, CA. Their local success paved the way for runnerthewriter’s own rise in the South Bay music scene. Soon, he was opening for his favorite bands and headlining shows across California, from Hollywood to San Diego. The taste of success whetted his appetite for more, propelling him into a solo career under the name November Blessing. He became an internet sensation on MySpace, but when the platform faded, so did his fanbase. Undeterred, runnerthewriter is back with a new alias, a fresh project, and an unwavering commitment to his craft.

With the release of his debut single and music video for “Sunset” on May 12th, 2023, followed by the second single “Mine” on June 16th, runnerthewriter is making his mark on the music industry.
