Rising Hip-Hop Artist Frittyglo Opens Up About the Trials and Tribulations He Endured to Reach His Success

New Jersey has always been one of the most colorful cities bustling with all kinds of music. From Whitney Houston to Bruce Springsteen, the Garden State has produced some of the biggest names in the music industry and continues to introduce new talents. Joining the fray is hip-hop artist Frittyglo, who has gained a lot of traction.

Frittyglo is an up-and-coming rap star and father of two who has been carving out his own path for years. Like many of his friends, the young artist grew up surrounded by music. It drew him in, and he immediately fell in love with the hip-hop genre. He started to imitate his idols, developing his own voice and slowly picking up his own pace. While his idols’ music styles initially influenced him to get into rap, Frittyglo’s passion deepened when he delved deeper into their words. Realizing that they used music as a medium to express their stories, Frittyglo started doing the same.

Frittyglo’s friends were instrumental in his decision to pursue music as a career. Among his many close friends, fellow hip-hop artist bandzz2.0 encouraged him to pick up a pen and take his pain to the page. By then, they had already established themselves in the local scene. Their success motivated him to work harder and take his craft more seriously.

Although he is young, Frittyglo has already experienced many things in his short life. “For a person who’s as young as me, I’ve fought the toughest battles and seen some things that most people would never want to see,” he explained. “Everything I’ve been through is my truth. My music is my testimony. I love everything I speak and rap about.”

Among the worst experiences Frittyglo endured was getting shot at. The event that transpired left him hanging for his life, but he was fortunate enough to survive. Frittyglo took the situation as a sign and has used what happened as a motivation to go further into his career. “I got a second chance to watch my kids grow,” Frittyglo shared. “Each day I wake up is a day to make them proud.”

Frittyglo’s in-depth understanding of the competitive nature of the music industry helped prepare him for the road ahead. Knowing how the music space is filled with talented individuals from all walks of life, he developed his creativity to go hand in hand with his work ethic. “There’s been a lot of my songs that I just freestyle from the top of my head, and not a lot of people can paint the type of pictures I paint through words and tell the type of stories I tell,” Frittyglo explained, giving people an idea about his work rate. The rising artist is also potent in his time management at the studio, and he attributes this discipline to the success he has garnered so far.

Already picking up more listeners, Frittyglo is enthusiastic about his future. Although he is uncertain about the trajectory of his music career, he foresees success regardless of where he will end up. “I just want to be a good father to my kids and let them know that just because I had a rough journey, their journey doesn’t have to be the same way,” Frittyglo revealed, “It’s never how you start that matters. It’s how you finish that counts the most.”
