Rahn Harper Releases Three-Song EP Bugs Bunny

As summer 2021 begins to near its end, Rahn Harper decided it was time to keep the party alive and dropped his new three-song EP entitled Bugs Bunny. The Portland artist has been taking over West Coast airwaves all summer long, growing on all streaming/social media platforms and making his presence known to the world. In an era where streaming services like Spotify are extremely oversaturated with music, it can be hard for fans to find new artists in all the chaos. I listen to alot of music, much more than the average person, and I felt extremely lucky when I first heard Rahn Harper. After the release of this new EP, I can say with confidence that I see Rahn Harper as a top contender to bring global recognition to the already bubbling Portland hip-hop scene.

Portland, Oregon, is not a city well known for its hip-hop/rap scene, but there’s a lot more to the local talent than meets the eye. With many talented artists and a growing community of creatives striving to work together and bring positive change to the city, I see Portland as having one of the more underrated music scenes in the US. Rahn Harper is one of the leading artists in the city making strides towards national recognition. With over 40,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and a surrounding team of motivated friends and business partners, his trajectory is clear. Consistency and quality is something to expect from Rahn Harper’s music.

Bugs Bunny is an energy packed three-piece that never has a dull moment. The title song comes first, and sets the tone for the entire project. With crystal clear melodic rap vocals, and well timed ad libs, Rahn Harper is an impressive talent. Sonically, this EP stands out among some of his other work. I feel that these three songs have a more hi-fi sound and a more refined compression overall. The mix/master on this EP really hits the sweet spot.

Timing is everything in the music industry, from the creation of the art to the release date, the magic is in the timing. This can be the most difficult part of being an artist in an era where so many people are attempting to create and release music. Rahn Harper could not have released this three-song EP at a better time. End of summer heading into fall, these tracks will be on repeat until the end of the year no doubt.

As the year winds down and the seasons begin to show the first signs of change, I am very excited to share this new art with you. Rahn Harper has come a long way as an artist, from his humble beginnings in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to his now ever-growing network of creatives in his new city, I am excited to see where the rest of the year takes the young star. Make sure you give the Bugs Bunny EP a listen on Spotify, and follow Rahn Harper on social media (Instagram) to keep up with all things Rahn.
