With acting schools popping up everywhere in the country, it’s difficult to distinguish between them all. They say the proof is in the pudding, right? Well, the students of Aikan Acts are flourishing in the business of acting. Just like child prodigy Warren J. Smith ,who’s a 9-year-old actor that’s making an impact in front of the camera. Since his first time on set feeling excited and nervous, he’s been one of Aikan Acts students to watch out for in 2022. Warren has been working since June 2021, non-stop. Bookings for Warren are coming at a fast pace. He’s being sought out by a lot of directors across America. His mentor Nakia Dillard, Founder of Aikan Acts, is also proud of Warren and his devotion for going after his dreams as an actor. Nakia pushes his students to be the best at their craft and is always available for preparing them for a role. Booking auditions isn’t easy, but Warren proves he’s ready to take on any role. One day he wants to be beside McKenna Grace in a featured film, eventually having his own sitcom called “Their Way” with Tichina Arnold/Mom and Will Smith/Dad. For now, he’s loving the process of his journey. Advising kids to believe in themselves and saying, “Don’t let anyone belittle you or stop you from achieving your goals.” Warren being a Beacon for other upcoming young actors and actresses in the future is an understatement. The industry will have him as the standard of acting excellency, guaranteed. PR’s With No Ego’s will be watching Warren closely. 

Another student to watch closely from Aikan Acts is 16-year-old actress Aniya Rankin who is also a young force not to be underestimated. With her inspiration coming from watching streaming platforms like Netflix and wanting to be an actress since a child, I guess you can say acting chose her. Staying active in the arts since 2018 under tutelage of Nakia, Aniya knows a thing or two about being on screen. Loving the set plus how it all comes together is what fascinates her, as well as doing background work which would eventually land her a role in “Nobody’s Son” (2021). Having Nakia as her coach, Aniyah gets to see him on major TV shows such as ‘Wonder Years’ on ABC and then take classes with him directly is a surreal moment. She sees her future self successful with a sitcom called ‘High School Chronicles’ and her Mom/Gabrielle Union plus Dad/Will Smith playing her parents. Her current role prep is all about studying lines constantly and getting a good night’s sleep. Her favorite actress is Sky Katz, and Isaac Ryan Brown is her favorite actor in the industry. A dream role alongside Will Smith in a feature is also in her future sights, but for now patience, staying focused, and believing in herself is some of the strongest advice from a young actress to those following her. We’ll be watching Aniya closely on her journey as she makes her mark on the industry.

The third featured actor coming out of Aikan Acts is 26 years old. He’s a newcomer to the Arts but plans to be a bright star in the industry, respectively. We’re talking about Deondre Castello, who’s a NYC native that takes his craft extremely seriously. Under the tutelage of Nakia Dillard, he has learned from one of the best acting coaches in the industry. Nakia tells PR’s WITH NO EGO’S that Deondre is one of his best students who’s coachable and is a natural when it comes to acting. Ironically Deondre’s favorite show is “The Wire” in which his coach had a role in. With Denzel Washington (Training Day, Equalizer & American Gangster) being his favorite actor plus wanting to eventually star in a feature with Denzel, you can say he’s not here to play around. Learning how to approach a script from a legend such as him would be an experience to remember, Deondre told us. He also explained he learned in class how to make a character believable to your audience plus yourself. With his ritual of prayer before studying for a role which keeps his focus at its highest level, it’s sure to say he’ll definitely be a role model for the next generation. He also told us he plans to help other upcoming actors and actresses flourish in the industry by being available for them when they need the best advice. We will definitely be watching Deondre on his journey and can’t wait to see him on the big screen. 

RECORDING ARTIST SPOTLIGHT 

To be a stand-alone, standout artist in a music industry that’s built on copycats and cookie-cutting redundancies it’s safe to say Billztadon is that one exception. His ability to gracefully flow on any genre of music is a godsend. Not too many artists can achieve this without stumbling and giving up entirely. His relentless, never-surrender attitude is what drives his artistry to the next level. He was inspired by the roster of YMCMB (Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj and Drake); he decided early on in his journey to create content that would stand the test of time. His knack for knowing what a track needs from genre to the flow is something he was born with. He just knows what energy to bring to the booth when he’s recording. As a veteran in the industry for 11 years now, it’s safe to say he’s not going anywhere. From his first performance at his H. S. Prospect Heights in Brooklyn NY to his first major performance on a Manhattan stage, his support system has always been there. That encouraged him to command any stage with dominance. There’s one artist Billztadon wants to work with, and that’s Cardi B. He told PWNE’s that Cardi’s creativity level is the main reason he would let her do her on a feature. His wish list of producers to work with is Kanye, London On Da Track, Mike Will, DJ Mustard, Metro Booming, El Alfa, and Hitmaka just to name a few. In 5 years he sees himself with multiple Billboard charted bangers with some of the top artists and producers in the industry. With also having his own record label called “Tadahh Records” in the future. It seems it’s going to be a bright one for Billztadon. His advice to new up and coming artists is do your research thoroughly on people, work hard, be smart, be yourself, and most of all, be consistent. Being one of the most memorable artists with a status that exceeds most is the mark he wants to leave on the music industry. Acting is in consideration due to Billztadon wanting to make appearances in movies and television shows. To sum it all up he is the truth our music industry needs and all music executives should keep a watchful eye out for Billztadon.
