With the release of 2 EP’s and a full length album, Scar Nitti is showing no sign of slowing down. We first heard about Scar Nitti when he released his 4 song EP entitled “Price Check” earlier this year. That is why when we heard he had dropped an entire body of work we had to go check it out.

“Brought at a Price” is Scar Nittis first full length album released on Spotify and Apple Music. This record marks his debut, and makes him a true contender in the Music Industry. He starts off the Album with a track entitled “Intro (Today’s Agenda) and sets the tone for the project right away. With cinematic production, and confident tone this song is how a real album is meant to start.

The fourth song on the project entitled “Success Pains” had already built a ton of momentum before the release of the whole project. Having a single that took off as much as this one was very crucial for the success of this Album. With over 15,000 monthly listeners on Spotify alone, he has developed a solid fan base that wants to stream his music.

It can be difficult to discover new talent these days. New music is released in masses everyday, no one can listen through every release and determine who’s consistently dropped the best music. When I first heard Scar Nitti I knew that it was going to be a good day, his energetic voice and beat selection are unmatched. His hard work and dedication have been accruing him real fans that are interested in his music and journey outside of the booth.

Great music is not enough to succeed in the modern music industry. With the amount of talent that is out there it takes a lot more than just the ability to create a hit song. Marketing, and developing a strategy for success is where most artists fail miserably. Scar Nitti has shown that he is not only an incredible MC, but also a business minded individual. It is hard to find people like Scar Nitti and I am very grateful to have gotten to have some great discussions with this next level artist.
