Hailing from Louisiana and of Creole descent, Monetia Smothers, famously known as “Ms Exquisite Full Figure Georgia 2018,” (@ms.exq.fullfigure_georgia_2018)and Full Figure promotional model is also a two-time award-nominated actress, TV personality, spokesperson, promotional model, brand ambassador and talk show host. She has ten years of experience in the fashion and movie industries and has modeled for popular fashion houses such as @ElitePourLaVie, @victoriasoprano, House of Van Miller @vanmillerinternational by Vanessa Henderson, @Macy’s department store wearing the @SassyJones collection styled by @MichelleLynchstyles, and also modeled @thebosscollection for reality star and personality @lisaNicoleCloud.
However, it didn’t stop there. When she decided to accept a role in the upcoming movie The Staff produced by Kenneth Gwynn and director Kevin Hunter Jr. of One Voice production, her career blossomed. Monetia’s film and television appearances includes The Staff (2019), Dynasty (February 2019), BET Tales’s Moonlight (March 2019) and BET+ Bigger (2019). Monetia continues to push forward despite the many challenges she has endured.
Ms. Smothers’s newest endeavor is the launching of her new streaming television network AEG TV, which can also be viewed from the company’s website armanientertainmentgroup.online/ and any Roku platforms available. AEG TV Network is also available now in the Roku channel store. Monetia is determined to succeed and work hard to reach the top. “The lessons I have learned is to never to quit, never give up, and never let anyone tell you what you can’t do,” said Ms. Smothers. “Many times, you will hear NO, but don’t let it discourage you. Just become determined to make your own lane and turn it into an avenue you begin to accomplish on your own by creating your own lane,” she passionately shared.
Monetia Smothers’s biggest project will launch in 2021—A streaming television network called AEG TV, as part of the Armani Entertainment Group LLC. AEG TV is a multi-cultural entertainment network with website integration from Roku. Website integration allows viewers to view content from Roku online directly from the armanientertainmentgroup.online/website. The first reality show for AEG TV will be produced by Paul Randall.
