At this year’s Florida Men’s Fashion Week, among the bold tailoring and expressive streetwear, one brand quietly shifted the conversation. La Magnetique, the brainchild of Ukrainian designer Katerina Frumina, brought to the runway something rare: transformational elegance that speaks equally to comfort, purpose, and identity.
While the spotlight at this event was on La Magnetique’s menswear capsule, the brand’s soul remains firmly anchored in its signature women’s line—a collection celebrated for its ability to blend relaxed homewear aesthetics with the polish of high fashion.
“My journey began with designing for women,” says Frumina. “The idea was to give them clothing that felt as comfortable as their favorite robe but looked as powerful as a tailored suit. That philosophy now extends to men—but women remain at the center of what I do.”
Pajama Suits With a Purpose
The core of La Magnetique’s identity lies in its reinterpretation of the pajama suit—a silhouette reimagined not as loungewear, but as a transformative wardrobe essential. Think: supple fabrics, flowing lines, and modular construction that allow a single outfit to shift moods and meanings—from morning calm to cocktail-ready, from soft intimacy to confident structure.
Each piece is built with adaptability in mind: removable belts, detachable sleeves, variably fastened collars, and adjustable silhouettes that reshape the garment with minimal effort. No full change required—just subtle shifts that allow wearers to move between roles, spaces, and emotions.
“I always say, it’s like changing moods—not clothes,” Frumina explains. “The transformation is fluid. You can go from curled up on the sofa to stepping into a gallery opening with a few adjustments. That’s power.”
Men’s Capsule, Same Philosophy
For Florida Men’s Fashion Week, Frumina introduced a capsule menswear collection rooted in the same language as her women’s pieces: intelligent tailoring, soft structure, and above all, comfort-driven confidence. Presented in a muted palette—deep navy, stone, sand, and pearl—the pieces retained the brand’s core idea of fluidity, while offering a refined alternative to rigid menswear standards.
But this was not a departure from La Magnetique’s identity—it was an extension.
“Men deserve clothing that adapts to them too,” says Frumina. “La Magnetique for men is not about trend—it’s about pace. About responding to how men really move and feel today.”
Yet, the show remained true to the brand’s DNA: several looks blended traditionally feminine softness with masculine cuts, challenging norms without theatrics. Instead of dramatic runway antics, the transformation was built into the garments themselves. A loose wrap jacket, when belted, became sharply formal. An open-collar tunic tucked into structured trousers transformed into a sleek evening ensemble.
A Fashion Week Highlight
The presentation became one of the most talked-about moments of the event—not because of spectacle, but because of restraint. Editors, stylists, and buyers commented on the intelligence of the design, the clarity of the message, and the timelessness of the aesthetic.
What resonated most was the authenticity: Frumina’s refusal to follow noise in favor of thoughtful innovation.
From Ukraine to Miami: A Cross-Continental Vision
Though originally launched in Kyiv in 2015, La Magnetique has become increasingly global. After winning acclaim at European Fashion Week and working alongside major Italian maisons, Frumina has brought her design ethos to the U.S., where her garments now appear in editorials, red carpet events, and private trunk shows.
Florida Men’s Fashion Week marks just one part of that expansion. Upcoming collaborations include curated presentations in New York, Los Angeles, and a women’s capsule relaunch focused on “dressed-up comfort”—eveningwear that moves like silk sleepwear but holds structure like couture.
“I want every person—man or woman—to feel like their clothes support them, not define them,” Frumina says. “That’s what La Magnetique is about: the freedom to move, transform, and lead your life without wardrobe limitations.”

A New Standard in Transitional Dressing
La Magnetique’s ability to pivot between masculine and feminine codes, between form and feeling, is exactly what makes the brand future-facing. In a world where rigid categories are giving way to nuance, Frumina’s designs land precisely where fashion is going: adaptive, emotionally intelligent, and deeply personal.
Whether it’s the soft structure of a men’s robe blazer or the quiet drama of a silk women’s suit with modular sleeves, La Magnetique doesn’t just sell fashion—it offers permission. Permission to pause. To shift. To show up in your full complexity, without ever needing to “change.”
