In the world of fitness and wellness, Janna Breslin is no stranger to the spotlight, having graced the covers of some of the most popular magazines, captivating audiences with her vibrant presence and dedication to a healthy lifestyle.

But Janna’s life took a profound turn after a cancer diagnosis. This diagnosis transformed her priorities, leading her away from the world of bodybuilding competitions and what she describes as the “toxic health industry.” Instead, she embarked on a holistic approach to overall well-being. Her journey prioritized clean water and food, strength training, CrossFit, and bio-optimization modalities such as frequent sauna and cryotherapy, red light therapy and IV infusions. Sharing this transformation with her already substantial social media following struck a chord with many, making Janna one of the most influential figures in the health and wellness space.

Gracing magazine covers was not enough for Janna. She aspired to inspire others to embrace a more natural and holistic lifestyle, a desire that led to the creation of “The Complete Human Podcast,” a show with a mission to educate and inspire healthier people and a healthier planet. Janna’s commitment to well-being extended to Regenerative Pastures, now known as Modern Homestead Meats, a direct-to-consumer meat company that focuses on delivering regenerative meat to health-conscious consumers who want to support regenerative agriculture.

Janna’s journey led her and her partner, Evan DeMarco, to embark on an off-grid lifestyle in Tennessee. As she recalls, “Ten years ago, if you would have told me I would have been living off grid in Tennessee, I would have said you were crazy. But embarking on this adventure, I’ve learned what true health and freedom really is. For the first time in decades, I have found peace and serenity, not in a location, but in myself.”

This shift from the fitness world of magazine covers to the serene life off-grid in Tennessee reflects Janna’s determination to uncover a deeper meaning in life. ” Living off grid became this dream for many in the country. Social media extolled the virtues of buying land and setting up a homestead.” However, as Janna has discovered, the reality of homesteading is far different than the romanticized version social media often portrays.

Janna and Evan’s path from California to Tennessee is not without challenges. Luckily, they have found guidance in their charismatic neighbor, Butch, who’s become a mentor and friend, helping them navigate the world of homesteading. “Butch represents the truest definition of a neighbor. He has been a Godsend, always there to teach us some very important lesson about living off the beaten path. We couldn’t be more grateful to have such an incredible neighbor.”

While Butch represents a traditional approach to farming and ranching, Janna introduced a modern perspective by investing in a groundbreaking technology known as Eternal Spring, the world’s first Deposition Water Harvester™. This device has the capacity to extract thousands of liters of pure water from the air anywhere on Earth. Janna and Evan are committed to sharing this technology with the world, as Janna has become a passionate advocate for water wellness. She believes that municipal water is often contaminated and that the current water infrastructure is linked to various health issues. Her mission is to provide a healthier water solution through technology.

Modern Homestead, the TV show that chronicles Janna and Evan’s off-grid lifestyle, has become a platform for inspiring others to embrace healthier and more self-sufficient practices. Available on CarbonTV, the largest outdoor network on the planet with 166 million active monthly viewers, the show has resonated with a massive global audience eager to witness the journey unfold.

Modern Homestead is more than a show about homesteading; it’s a show about relationships, with Janna and Evan’s bond at its core. Their love for the journey and their willingness to embrace failure are qualities that set them apart from conventional reality TV stars. As Janna reflects, “Evan is brilliant. I love how his mind works at solving problems. He has taken a very scientific approach to homesteading. But more than that, I love how he embraces the journey and is not afraid to fail. He constantly reminds me that failure is a great thing, as long as we learn from it. That’s been difficult for me. Social media really conditioned me to always give the illusion of success in everything I did. Learning to love failure has been one of my biggest challenges, but I’m getting there.”

In a world that often glorifies the superficial, Janna Breslin’s journey from fitness model to off-grid homesteader is a powerful reminder of the enduring human spirit. Her transformation has not only touched her life but has reached out to millions worldwide. Through Modern Homestead and her passion for water and food security, Janna is lighting the way for a more sustainable and self-sufficient future. She proves that true health and freedom can be found, not just in fitness magazine covers, but in the depths of our own souls and the choices we make for a better world.
