Jacques Laine Takes Center Stage with His Authentic Artistry and the Release of His Latest Single, “Piano Riff”

Over the years, singers and songwriters from across the globe have been using their craft to speak their truths and tell their stories. More than just a medium for giving entertainment, music has evolved into a formative tool that relays important messages seeking to inspire, console, and touch lives. In the case of up-and-coming hip-hop artist Jacques Laine, music is all about staying true to oneself and embracing one’s identity no matter what.

Unlike most artists who use stage names in advancing their careers, Jacques Laine decided to use his birth name. “I figured I’d keep my real name since my music is very personal and true to who I am. I use my music to share the stories of myself and my friends. It’s all the truth, so I never felt the need to hide behind a stage name,” he shared in an interview.

As someone who has always been passionate about being authentic and genuine, Jacques Laine was able to make his mark in the industry with his distinctive artistry. With his personal style integrated into his music, the emerging artist shows that he is a force to be reckoned with. He believes that his budding career will set a precedent for aspirants and dreamers who are too afraid of revealing their true selves to the world.

Born and raised in Newburgh, New York, Jacques Laine started making little music when he was in college but did not take it seriously until he came back to his hometown. Since then, he has been unstoppable at taking his craft to the next level, inspiring more and more people along the way.

“I felt the need to use music as a way to communicate the lessons I learned when I was away from Newburgh to the people I care about and shed light on a lot of the things that people are going through in my hometown in an authentic way,” Jacques Laine explained.

“Newburgh gives me the most inspiration. Sometimes I just drive around and play beats that producers send me. I want to paint the most vivid pictures when I rap, and I draw a lot of inspiration from my hometown because that’s what I know best,” the artist added.

When asked about the people influencing his music, Jacques Laine shared that Nas, Hov, Biggie, Kanye Andre 3000, and J. Cole played an important role in shaping the artist he is today.

Immensely fueled by the desire to chase after his dreams, Jacques Laine is now carving his own path toward the forefront of the music industry. With his craft revolving around life in Newburgh and his past experiences, he highlights the importance of staying authentic and real in a society that tries to dictate what or who one should become.

Since dipping his toes into the music scene, Jacques Laine has been receiving nods from listeners because of his songs’ ability to make people feel empowered. He is set to establish himself as a creative pioneer with plans to revolutionize the rap scene through his distinguished artistry and unique rap style.

Currently, Jacques Laine is promoting his single “Piano Riff,” which is produced by Just Da 1. According to the artist, the song has a dark tone to it, from its beat all the way down to its lyrics and message. On top of evolving into a household name armed with his signature music and rap style, he hopes to headline big shows in the near future and collaborate with other artists he looks up to.
