How Piano Prodigy Vincent Lanty Turned His Passion for Music into a Budding Career

People who strive for music careers have been told repeatedly that their passion could lead them to their downfall. Many musicians fail to monetize their music skills, and those who have, don’t do it full-time. But Vincent Lanty, a pianist from France, would think otherwise. Now, with an established career as a music arranger, he’s here to prove that there is hope for people who chase after their music goals.

Lanty is a multi-faceted musician who works as a musical director, composer, producer, music arranger, and professional pianist. In his career, he has worked alongside artists like Rihanna, Carly Rae Jepsen, Little Mix, Rita Ora, Alessia Cara, Cris Cab, As Animals, France Gall, Matt Pokora, Jenifer, Nelly Furtado, Robin Thicke, One Direction, Celine Dion, Pascal Obispo, Lou, and many others. In addition, he has worked with many of the biggest brands in musical entertainment, including running studio sessions for “The Voice” and directing “Resiste,” France’s most celebrated musical, from 2015 to 2018.

But Vincent’s pursuit of musical greatness didn’t happen overnight. It started with struggle and perseverance. While he grew up in a highly creative environment, times were tough for Vincent. He grew up with a single mother who worked as a screenwriter. When he turned six years old, Lanty joined the “Conservatoire Superieur of Music” in Paris, France. Joining the prominent musical institution would help mold his talent and love for piano and music.

From a young age, Vincent showed promise. He stayed dedicated to his craft, which gave most of his instructors the impression that he would one day become a highly-successful musician. At eleven, Vincent went to a Christian school and grew a love for choirs and music productions. He would apply and qualify for the French Music School, ATLA, in 2006. Upon graduating, he would receive the top honor among his peers.

From there, Vincent Lanty threw his whole being into creating a music career. He played in piano bars like Le Duc Des Lombards upon graduation and started getting the attention of prominent entertainers, entrepreneurs, and music moguls. He would eventually appear on Star Academy, a network that reaches over 7 million viewers. Vincent would then get the chance to meet with Marc Jordan, who worked as Rihanna’s manager. At the age of twenty-two, Vincent was playing on some of the biggest stages for one of the biggest music icons of this time.

Fast forward to 2019, and Vincent Lanty would move to the United States, which proved to be a rewarding decision. First, he worked as a writer, producer, engineer, and mixer for many music records. Then, in 2020, he got an offer to work with SIZZER, the country’s top music agency, where he would compose commercial music for brands like Nintendo, AXA, San Pellegrino, Honda, BMW, Voltaren, and many more.

To say that Vincenty Lanty has proven his musical success would be an understatement. But he also assures other aspiring musicians that there were challenges. Accordingly, he encourages people who want to thrive in music to keep pushing forward and pursuing their dreams. Today, Vincent has many more projects in the pipeline. Following the massive success of the single “Problème,” which he helped craft, Vincent has now received an offer to help develop an album with the French music sensation, Marghe, which should come out sometime in February 2022.
