In a breathtaking display of refined elegance, Grey/Ven made a memorable statement at New York Fashion Week with the debut of its FW25 collection, ‘The Journey’—a thoughtful expression of contemporary quiet luxury. The highly anticipated runway show, held at the exclusive Casa Cipriani, drew an elite crowd despite the crisp winter air, with mobs of hopeful attendees gathered outside, eager for a chance to experience the spectacle—only to be turned away from one of the season’s most sought-after events.
The afternoon marked the official introduction of Ilana Kugel as Grey/Ven’s newly appointed Creative Director—a celebrated CFDA-recognized talent whose visionary artistry sets the tone for the brand’s next chapter. In addition to an impeccably tailored ready-to-wear collection, the house made a notable foray into the world of luxury accessories with the debut of its first handbags made in Italy and accessory line, exquisitely crafted from the finest Italian leather. This expansion underscores Grey/Ven’s commitment to timeless craftsmanship and elevated design.

Set against the backdrop of Casa Cipriani’s opulent interiors and sweeping waterfront views, guests were welcomed into a world of indulgence, beginning with an intimate cocktail hour featuring bespoke libations and gourmet hors d’oeuvres. Adding a theatrical touch, a dramatic red carpet installation took center stage, offering a striking focal point where attendees captured the moment in style.
With ‘The Journey,’ Grey/Ven continues to explore modern luxury, blending sartorial excellence with an unwavering dedication to craftsmanship. This milestone collection signals a new direction for the brand—one that is poised to make a notable impact on the fashion landscape.

After the cocktail hour, guests were escorted to an intimate runway space featuring three rows of seating, with a custom runway crafted from natural woods, adorned with the brand’s logo, and an elegant array of florals in soft, natural hues. The ambiance set the stage for ‘The Journey,’ a collection inspired by the serene beauty of a desert sunset. Models exuded effortless confidence in Grey/Ven’s signature quiet luxury—leathers, shearling, knits, cashmere, wool blends, and the brand’s renowned Ponte fabric. Closing the runway show was Italian Model Ambra Battilana Gutierrez, who made a statement in a stunning strapless leather dress from the collection. Every element, from the organic runway to the refined florals, reflected the richness of fall, making it a show to remember.
In addition to Grey/Ven hosts CEO Scott Weissman, Business Partner Greg Lorber, Creative Director Ilana Kugel, and Stylist Gabriela Langone, the roster of guests in attendance included: rap star Ja Rule with business partner Herb Rice; singer Crystal Waters, who performed later that night at Casa Cipriani with Sam Smith; Queen of Versailles Jackie Siegel along with her daughter and a film crew; reality star of My Unorthodox Life and entrepreneur Julia Haart; Real Housewives of Miami’s Michelle Pooch; Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Margaret Josephs, Jenn Fessler, and Jackie Goldschneider; Selling the City castmates Eleonora Srugo and Giselle Meneses Nunez; Prince Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe; actor Nick Barotta; actress Brec Basinger; Netflix star (On My Block) Sierra Capri; actor Ben Lawson of Netflix’s Firefly Lane; Sports Illustrated model, travel and lifestyle creator Victoria Vesce; actress Natalie Stone; influencer and model Georgina Mazzeo; TV actors and brothers Alex Garfin (Superman and Lois) and Max Garfin (Chicago Med); model Emily Janes; model Trevor Dutch; model and surfer Dusty Lackowizz; socialite Irina Ginsberg; and more.

American socialite and actress Jackie Siegel made a stunning entrance in Grey/Ven, once again showcasing her love for the brand. A longtime supporter, she has previously worn Grey/Ven for magazine features in Elle Decor, Park Avenue Magazine, Resident, and more. Star of HBO Max’s Queen of Versailles Reigns Again, Jackie has become one of the brand’s most devoted fans. She and her husband, David Siegel, are also known for their famed 90,000-square-foot estate, which, after nearly 20 years of construction, was recently reported as “almost completed.”
Following the runway show, guests continued the celebration, toasting to the collection that had everyone declaring they “wanted every single piece.” Ja Rule and his partner Herb Rice gifted a bottle of their new Amber & Opal whisky to Scott Weissman, CEO of Grey/Ven. Selling the City’s Eleonora Srugo was such a fan of the whisky that she was sipping it straight from the exclusive bottle, adding to the afternoon’s lively and celebratory atmosphere.
If they didn’t have their eye on Grey/Ven before, they sure do now. There’s much to anticipate for this brand this year—Grey/Ven will be popping up in Miami and Tokyo and returning to their flagship in East Hampton, with expansion on the East End as well.
