Madrid, Spain. Venezuelan singer Fernando Tovar “El Alcaraván” continues to expand the reach of llanera music with his 2026 tour of Spain, which will have one of its highlights this coming Saturday, November 7th in Madrid.
The Madrid performance represents another opportunity for Tovar to share the traditions and distinctive sounds of Venezuelan llanera music with an international audience. Through his performances, the singer continues to connect listeners abroad with the musical identity of the Venezuelan plains.
The artist will perform at 3:00 p.m. at Los Guayos Sabor Llanero, located at Paseo Alberto Palacios 83, Villaverde Alto. Under the concept of “Fernando Tovar Intimate,” he will offer an intimate and emotional show that promises to be a grand celebration of Venezuelan roots.

Originally from the state of Apure, Tovar has crafted a style that blends respect for tradition with a contemporary vision of the genre. His concept, “The New Era of Joropo,” aims to bring llanera music to new generations and showcase it on international stages.

His career includes performances in Venezuela, the United States, Colombia, Panama, Argentina, and Chile, as well as collaborations with artists such as Luis Silva, Miguelito Díaz, and Carlitos Sánchez. His notable productions include Indetenible, Llanerías, Tiempo Vencío, Dignidad, La Fuerza del Corazón, and Brisita Chaparralera.
Those international appearances have helped Tovar introduce his repertoire to different audiences while maintaining the connection to the Venezuelan culture that has shaped his music. Madrid now becomes another destination in that continuing journey.
The singer has also received accolades such as the Latin Mara International Award, the Tacarigua de Oro International Award, and the Entrepreneur of the Year distinction. In 2026, he expanded his presence in the music industry with the creation of Alcaraván Records, his own recording studio.
