Everything You Need To Know About Devin Millar

Today’s dance music has the same sound, which is Electronic Dance music (or EDM for short) and it in no way sounds like how music from the 1990s sounded. The revival of this style of Dance music is thanks to one producer. He is Devin Millar, a viral singer, and songwriter who knows what Dance music should be about. Devin believes in being as expressive as possible, and sticking to your roots. He makes Lil Nas X and Sam Smith look obedient in comparison.

Devin Millar is known for his trademark childlike aesthetic while mixing adult themes into the mix of it, to relate to all ages. In the world of Devin Millar’s music and cartoons, there is a little bit of something for everyone.

He’s a music producer

Devin has been creating music since the age of 6 when he learned to play the piano. He starts using software to create his music when he was 14 and got short-lived notoriety for being a normal EDM producer. This did not last long as he eventually went independent 5 years later which is how he restored his fame.

He animates his music videos

Devin has a history of creating animations and drawing, and this is similar to the Saturday morning cartoons of the 1980s which was the dominant form of animation at the time.

He’s independent

Though he has been with the labels Cavity Search Records and Voodoo Doughnut Recordings, he has always stayed independent and continues to be to this day.  Devin believes that full creativity control is important to make a difference in your art.

He’s anti-censorship

While reminding people that not worrying what others think of you is essential, Devin is a whole different story. Devin believes censorship ruins the purity of work. He believes everyone should mind their own business and let people express themselves as long as they are not causing harm to others.

Holding the title of The King of Rebellion and The Rebel of Pop music, he is important to our generation with his music taking the world and internet by storm on YouTube to Spotify. His music can be heard everywhere.
