Born on August 10, 1999, Destiny Diamond McGraw is a talented actress and model hailing from New York City. She is well known for her appearance in The TV series ‘Godfather of Harlem’ starring Academy and Oscar Award-winning actor Forrest Whitaker. She has also made appearances in background work on familiar TV series like ‘God Friended Me,’ ‘The Duece and New Amsterdam.’

Destiny’s acting career is not that of an overnight success story but rather a tale of altering passion and determination. Destiny was motivated to go into the performing acts by the flawless acting she saw on her favourite TV shows as a teenager. One particular show titled ‘Martin by Martin Lawrence’ was her daily dose of entertainment and acting lessons as she would keep the captions on and study how the actors portray their lines. Her young mind was particularly intrigued by the lead actor and how he could play different characters flawlessly. Inspired, Destiny modeled herself after her idol and put in several hours of practice to express her varying personalities in the most natural way.

Taking a step in the right direction towards her career, she honed her acting craft through acting classes by putting in hours of practice. Her versatility and ability to blend into any character flawlessly soon opened doors for her as she began to flourish and was cast for a supporting role in the movie ‘A Teenage Story.’ She is now known for working with actor and current instructor Marc Jon Jeffries as she continues to be featured in upcoming roles. 

Putting herself out as a brand, Destiny Diamond McGrew believes everyone should share their gifts with the world. She wants everyone to adopt the salient point to stay motivated, believe in themselves, and always follow their dreams, knowing nothing is impossible with determination.

When asked where she sees her career in the next five years, Destiny replies, “Where I see myself in the next half-decade is striving to be a better me, taking on lead roles and gaining more knowledge and experience within the acting field.” The budding actress also hopes to take on more challenging roles within the film industry and one day produce and star in her professional films. Her goal also includes owning and building movie production companies to help people who aspire to be actors or directors. Her journey inspires everyone to rise above whatever obstacle life may present and reach for greatness. She believes the sky is the starting point as long as you keep pushing forward.
