DAYDREAM Video by Joie Grey & Cristina Malakhai – Alt Pop R&B

Joie Grey and Cristina Malakhai release a music video for their USA – Spain collaboration, filmed between Atlanta and Costa Brava in Spain, which features dynamic and original editing by Gigi Carapia (Henry Mendez, Victor Magan, Adidas).

After his viral song “Untitled” on TikTok and collecting +12M streams across platforms, Joie Grey delighted us with “Daydream,” a remarkable music collaboration overseas with the Spanish artist Cristina Malakhai, who is preparing new music between the USA, Spain, and Latin America, crossing genres from pop to R&B, urban, EDM, flamenco and Latin music.

Daydream is an upbeat Pop/R&B ballad heavily influenced by UK garage and drum & bass music. The song’s production features smooth synth chords and dynamic bass lines. The song was fully produced by JOIE GREY (Atlanta, USA), with big writing contributions from Cristina Malakhai (Barcelona, Spain) for the Spanish Remix. Daydream’s lyrics focus on the difficulties of dealing with a one-sided relationship. This is something that many can relate to, especially in this generation.
