Creative Artist Messiah Brown Shares His Artistic Views With Exemplary Brush Strokes

Art is an expression of self, conveying an artist’s view and perspective to the world. It is an outlet for the world to experience art through the artist’s eye. One artist who continues to evolve, using colorful brush strokes to breathe life into blank canvases and turn it into stunning pieces of artwork, is artist and entrepreneur Messiah Brown.

Hailing from the historic city of Brooklyn, New York, Messiah Brown is an emerging artist making creative expressions through abstract surrealism oil paintings. His interest in illustration started early, which led him to other artistic outlets that helped him liberate his creative expressions. “The outlook I built on being an artist constantly evolves and changes. This helps me discover other ideas that I can express authentically through my work,” he explained.

Messiah describes his art style as colorful and uncanny. “From time to time I enjoy showing meaning with the message I put behind certain pieces. I like that my work can be included with fashion depending on what type of imagery it is. Having a broadened mind helps because I am not restricted to one avenue and can include myself into society in many other ways.”

Messiah makes work for art collectors, buyers, and enthusiasts. He hopes to find more collaborations and opportunities with other artists and people who support emerging artists and build connections with art lovers. “I’m looking to build connections with people so I can  create bridges with other art lovers,” he says. One of his unique attributes as an artist is his self-awareness and approach to handling the ups and downs that comes with being an artist. He often polishes his creative techniques, which helps him stay grounded with lucrative inspirations and wild passions.

When asked about the motivation behind his brand, he said, “It just happened. I was trying to figure out what I could do with my talents and how I would be able to make a living being a creative person. So I worked on myself and took steps into the New York art scene, taking the opportunity to obtain as much knowledge I could retain.”

In the coming years, Messiah hopes to continue putting out creative illustrations. “Five years from now, I see myself living fully in a creative world where I can create and work as a full-time artist. I see my artistic talents leaning into other directions that are still forming into fruition, and as I get closer to fulfilling goals, the path I’m on becomes clearer. The future of my work will be revolutionized and expansive,” he shared.

Messiah wants to promote self-awareness and self-acceptance and inspire other aspiring artists to believe in themselves and believe that anything is possible. “Nothing happens overnight, he said. “Certain things take time, but you can make anything happen with determination and execution,” he said.
