Hailing from the eastside of Detroit, Michigan, in a rugged little suburb called Roseville, one Aaron Talukder is taking the music industry by storm. More popularly known by his moniker, ATEE, the rising star is dishing out some cold hard truth by keeping himself real all throughout his entire career.
ATEE is never scared to be vulnerable to his audience. In fact, his lyricism speaks in-depth about the troubles that he has faced before pursuing a life within the music industry. He always keeps it real and never shies away from showing his imperfections as a human and the struggles he faced before reaching the level of success he has now.
He isn’t just a regular rapper from the eastside of Detroit. ATEE is an artist through and through, spilling his guts through his writing. As a young eleven-year-old boy, ATEE had always enjoyed delving into poetry. This was his first official foray into the world of poetry, and it’s where much of his brilliant lyricism stems from. Soon, his sheer artistry would then evolve into compelling tracks of music that would not only captivate thousands within his community but also to the rest of the people in the world.
Struggling with his own past, ATEE never would have imagined himself to be where he is now. He owes much of his success to a fateful reunion with his own father, whom he hadn’t spoken to in five years. After his father was diagnosed with a life-threatening condition, ATEE decided to visit him and rekindle their bond.
Fortunately, his father survived the ordeal and even offered to start over with ATEE. He took his father’s offer and moved to Seattle with him to start a new life—a life where he wouldn’t end up in and out of jail or be betrayed by the people that he trusted the most. That was the life that ATEE once knew, but after moving to Seattle with his father, things have been changing for the better.
Nowadays, ATEE is making music on a high note making his name known in more communities across the United States and the rest of the world. “I hope that more and more people will notice that I’m trying to spread awareness of being real and honest in anything you do,” says ATEE.
He’s always been known for being authentic and keeping himself real. His tracks greatly reflect his own principles making them a joy to listen to. His tracks are sonically and lyrically pleasing, with songs like “Glitch,” “Play the Game,” and “At All” being such high-quality tracks in his blossoming discography.
All in all, ATEE hopes to utilize his voice to help others heal. He knows that the power of music and storytelling can have a positive impact on the lives of others, so he continues to spread awareness about authenticity and to be a genuine individual. He wants his audience to know that they aren’t alone and that someone will always understand what they’re going through. Not only is ATEE and undoubtedly a talented rapper, but he’s also a very inspirational individual.
