26462 Suns: An Artistic Exploration of Eternity and Reincarnation Organized by Y Manifesto

London, July – The groundbreaking art exhibition 26462 Suns: An Artistic Exploration of Eternity and Reincarnation, curated by Y Manifesto, successfully concluded its run from July 26 to 28, 2024, at the M P Birla Millennium Art Gallery in London. This event brought together diverse artists, each offering a unique perspective on themes of time, life cycles, and the cosmic continuity symbolized by the sun.

The exhibition aimed to evoke profound philosophical contemplation through various artistic forms, including painting, sculpture, photography, installations, and new media. Participating artists such as Aloysius Ong, BurniGRay, Chengming Xing (Maxim), He Wang, Jiaxing Guo, Jiayi Lin & Raine Li, Junhao Wu, Kaiwen Li, Kejian Sun, Lijiao Peng, Mingjun Sun, Minglin He, Mingyue Qu, Mingzhi Cai, Pingyu (Layla) Zhan, Yuqing Sheng, Qinning Hu, Ronggang Yan, Shijia Song, Wengqi Zou, Wenxin Fu, Wanzhuo Cheng, Xiao Zhang, Xinyu Fu, Yawen Yu, Yilin Bai, Yiru Wang, and Yuhan Wu delved into the concepts of reincarnation and the timeless essence of existence through their works.

“We are delighted to present 26462 Suns, a platform where art transcends boundaries to explore the mysteries of eternity,” shared Yuran Lin, curator and lecturer at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. Co-curator Wenjie Xu, co-founder of Hook Art, remarked, “Each piece invites viewers to reflect on the cyclical nature of life and the enduring essence of time through innovative artistic approaches.”

Beyond showcasing artistic excellence and creativity, 26462 Suns catalyzed global discourse, enriching conversations on eternal themes across international audiences. The exhibition’s judging panel, featuring distinguished professionals such as Yefu Liu—an artist with extensive experience at Art Basel and Frieze London—and Yuan Zhuang, a recipient of the Muse Design Award and DHA Design Award, ensured the event maintained a high standard of quality and depth.

Special recognition was extended to contributing partners Shuyi Liu and Yachu Feng, whose support and collaboration were instrumental in the exhibition’s success. Their efforts enhanced the event’s organization and reinforced its role in fostering a global art dialogue.

The 26462 Suns exhibition carried significant social relevance, resonating with contemporary concerns about existence and the patterns of life cycles. Its philosophical foundation encouraged audiences to reflect on their lives within the broader context of the universe’s eternal rhythm. Through immersive installations and thought-provoking artworks, viewers were drawn into a meditative space where time felt suspended, allowing them to contemplate their place in the grand cycle of existence.

Art critics noted that the exhibition highlighted art’s power to transcend temporal boundaries, forging connections to the infinite. Each artwork was a gateway to deeper insights about humanity’s place in the universe, challenging perceptions of time and existence. The use of light, shadow, and ephemeral materials in several pieces reinforced the theme of impermanence, reminding visitors of life’s transient yet recurring nature.

By uniting artists from various backgrounds, 26462 Suns fostered cross-cultural and philosophical dialogue, emphasizing the universality of its themes. The event underscored the shared human experience of searching for meaning and understanding in an ever-changing world. As visitors engaged with the artworks, they were invited to reconsider the narratives of the past and future, ultimately leaving with a renewed perspective on the endless cycle of rebirth and transformation. Many artists took bold, experimental approaches, integrating innovative materials and digital media to push the boundaries of traditional artistic expression. This fusion of historical reflection and contemporary creativity made 26462 Suns an exhibition and an evolving conversation about existence, memory, and the infinite journey of life itself.
