Dr. Ashley’s passion for dentistry began at the age of 13, when she accompanied her father, a renowned dentist, on a mission trip to India. There, she saw firsthand how dental care could not only address health issues but empower communities, igniting a lifelong commitment to combine science, compassion, and service in her practice.

That unforgettable experience ignited a lifelong passion, shaping Dr. Ashley’s commitment to combining dentistry with science, compassion, and service. Today, Dr. Ashley visits India every year to honor that transformative experience. She provides dental care to more than 250 orphans affected by the AIDS crisis through Agape AIDS Orphan Care. As the Operations Committee Chairperson, she ensures to offer her services with the same compassion to help the kids who need it most.

For Dr. Ashley, chasing excellence has always been the only option. Being a high achiever, she graduated magna cum laude from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She not only stood out academically but also received special recognition for her profound ability to treat geriatric and special-needs patients.

Before becoming a successful dentist, Dr. Ashley gained over a decade of hands-on experience as a Certified Dental Assistant. She worked in various specialties, including periodontics and oral surgery. These years served as the sculptor’s chisel, shaping her into the clinician she is today. As both a clinician and an educator, Dr. Ashley is shaping the future of dentistry. At Boston University, she serves as the Course Director for Dental Anatomy, where she delivers lectures, mentors students, and oversees clinical lab work, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to excel in an ever-evolving field.

Dr. Ashley is redefining modern dentistry, weaving the latest tech into every corner of her Needham-based practice, Brede Ciapciak Dental. From clear aligners to Botox® as part of personalized treatment plans, she’s all about using innovative tools to deliver care that’s as precise as it is patient-focused.

A true digital dentistry guru, Dr. Ashley is a favorite on the speaker circuit, including at events like the Yankee Dental Congress. Her talks on making the leap to digital workflows and boosting results with tech always leave audiences inspired and ready to level up their practices.

During the pandemic, when the world shut down, Dr. Ashley took a revolutionary initiative and brought dentistry to the next level. She found a new channel to connect with and educate her patients.
