COVID-19 is not the only problem we have right now. Millions of people have been forcibly displaced because of persecution, war, and violence. There are still those who do not have access to clean water. Medical healthcare is not accessible to everyone. Children are starving and families are breaking apart.
It is crucial, therefore, to recognize the role and contributions of humanitarian organizations that are providing aid to those in need. Without them, some of our underprivileged and less fortunate may be left forgotten, their needs unaddressed. HumanityConnectinitiative is one such entity that is lending a hand.
HumanityConnectinitiative, aptly named for its humanitarian nature, was created to inspire people through the art of peace, prosperity, and unity and forge equality for all. They are driven by the desire to aid the less fortunate both domestically and internationally with the funds they raise.
At the heart of HumanityConnectinitiative is the emphasis on taking urgent action and raising public awareness about some of the most pressing issues faced today by society. They operate by raising funds through platforms such as GoFundMe and providing services that will address the needs of the underprivileged.
Right now, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, HumanityConnectinitiative is active domestically, donating masks to a local hospital and working on a few other things that they can do for the community. They are also currently preparing for their first international mission trip to Jordan and Palestine, which is geared toward helping the refugees with their daily basic needs such as water, food, toiletries, and hygienic items. They also intend to deliver medical aid and conduct essential checkups to those in need overseas.
The organization is made up of a team of passionate individuals who strongly believe in the power of ideas to change lives, build brighter futures, and help create a better world for every individual. At the helm is Anwar Zeidan, HumanityConnectinitiative’s founder and executive director. With the dream to draw people together and travel the world to aid those who are less fortunate, Anwar is currently taking up a Bachelor’s degree in Science in Nursing. He then hopes to apply his medical skills on the field during mission trips.
Dedicated changemakers join Anwar. Half of the team is composed of nursing students whose medical skills will also be largely handy during their mission trips.
Some of the core activities of HumanityConnectinitiative include reaching out to medical professionals, construction workers, educators, and more qualified personnel around the world who would wish to volunteer. They also raise funds and make use of their social media platforms to share inspirational stories of people from all across the globe. Lastly, their site showcases products such as bracelets, necklaces, and shirts that you can buy. The proceeds from their shop help fund the work that they are doing.
By promoting awareness and uniting humanity despite our many differences to aid third-world countries, HumanityConnectinitiative wants to make a measurable difference in the lives of others. They want the world as one, without distinctions and harmful labels.
