Barbara Majeski on Living the Good Life by Making Courage Contagious

Not everyone has the courage to start a new career at forty years old after recovering from Stage 3 cancer and a failed marriagethat is, except Barbara Majeski. She has become a catalyst, helping many other people worldwide experience the same breakthrough despite overwhelming odds.

Barbara is a national figure whose TV appearances have made her the object of inspiration for hundreds of thousands of followers worldwide. The lifestyle expert, coach, motivational speaker, and entrepreneur has appeared on some of the most televised shows in all of America. Some of those shows include the Today Show, Inside Edition, Good Day New York, NY Live, Chicago The Jam, and many others.

Hailed as “the Curator of the Good Life,” Barbara busies herself with inspiring millions of people to abandon the things in their life that hold them back from their true potential and pursue their wildest dreams and aspirations without constraint. Her website and blog have built one of the largest collections of content on lifestyle, self-development, entertainment, and travel. Every week, she appears on multiple shows and platforms, spreading a message of positivity and hope to all who need it most.

But Barbara Majeski’s journey has been anything but easy. In 2015, her marriage came to an end after years of misery and despair. Almost simultaneously, she would discover that she had stage 3 colon cancer eating her from the inside. While going through chemo infusion, Barbara realized the fleeting nature of life and started to ask the universe for another chance at life, promising that she would stop playing small and giving in to inner conversations that drove fear and doubt.

I promised that I would no longer play it safe, and I would no longer answer to the inner voices of doubt and fear,” shares Barbara. “I would live my next chapter bigger, better, bolder.” In a miraculous turn of events, the universe heard Barbara’s wager, and she gained freedom from her cancer. All her life, Barbara Majeski wanted to become a television personality. With her new narrative and refusal to give in to negative self-talk, she jumped on every opportunity she could. Everything else is history.

Today, Barbara has made it her goal to “make courage contagious.” “I always say courage is contagious, and if people see me doing this career launch in my 40s, they ask themselves, ‘If she can do that, why can’t I do this?’” explains the inspirational personality. “Hearing people take on new challenges and experiences because my example gave them the slightest push to make a move is very rewarding.” On top of her TV appearances, she maintains an active social presence on Instagram and TikTok, sharing various DIY craft tips, lifestyle ideas, and motivational content. Barbara also takes time to speak before crowds, sharing messages of inspiration and hope every time she steps on a stage.

Majeski also currently runs a podcast called Baring It All, where she showcases entrepreneurs, celebrities, and influencers. She has also started using Clubhouse to educate people on the new platform. All in all, she hopes to continue inspiring others to build the courage to pursue a good life by zeroing in on their goals and reaching them.
