Rachel Clinesmith is the CEO of Vampyre Cosmetics & Editor in Chief of Vampyre Magazine. Rachel and her husband co-run Mythosis Manufacturing LLC. They’ve manufactured unique custom cosmetics for several independent brands and celebrities since 2011, in addition to their lines, such as Alchemy Mythosis & Vampyre Cosmetics. They are in over eighty independent stores worldwide, and later this year, they will be releasing several licensed products into major retail stores.
Vampyre Cosmetics is a brand for several niches that many mainstream brands leave behind. They have worked closely with the music industry and the pinup, burlesque, and horror communities to develop and improve their products. By going on tour with bands and working in the haunted attraction industry, the Vampyre Cosmetics team has first-hand experience and knowledge of the needs of these subcultures. In addition to this, an aspect that has helped to create their repeatedly successful launches is a wholly unique packaging design. No other makeup brand has designed products in quite the same way, with attention to relevant details and quality.
Vampyre Cosmetics LLC has two pending patents. One is for ergonomically-designed tentacle shaped makeup brushes with super soft, 100% synthetic professional quality bristles, while the other is for Book Shaped Makeup Palettes with Thirty luscious vegan eyeshadow colors that apply smooth as butter and blend like a dream. Patent-pending on book design that opens up like an actual book with three pages of shadows and ten colors on each page! It’s like having three palettes in one compact, durable case.
“Our products have been featured in Italian Vogue, Gothic Beauty Magazine, Vampyre Magazine, The Kansas City Star, and LA Weekly.” (All of our products are Vegan & Cruelty-Free!) In addition, we have pending patents for our Book-shaped makeup palettes (made with three pages of eyeshadows actually to open up like a book) as well as our tentacle-shaped makeup brushes (ergonomically designed with professional quality synthetic bristles)!” Rachel Clinesmith explains.
Just recently, Vampyre Cosmetics has been accepted to Walmart’s Open Call. As a result, Rachel will be attending a meeting with them on June 29th, 2022.
